Believe me, it was laced with absolute sarcasm. I don't want an idiot who settles for black men carrying themselves in such juvenile ways as a "pal" or an "associate." It's 2 fuckin thousand and nine! I'm sick of these black men acting like they don't know how to handle success, fame and money. And it grosses me out to see others making excuses and allowances for such asinine behavior. It's a shame that black women are coming out classier and more mature than their male counterparts. These two are the epitome of self-emasculation, and you're the epitome of enabling. All of this "Awww, it's okay! Yeah, you're a grown man but still handle situations like a six year old!" is ridiculous! And, yes, I do take it personal. THESE are the piss poor examples of black manhood that are being broadcast in the mainstream media, which makes it really hard for me to walk out of my door everyday. Even among my own. I had some dude challenge me several years ago, talking about "you're supposed to be a thug!"

Hell no, I'm not supposed to be a thug. I don't want to be a thug. All because that's the sole image of black masculinity there is in the mainstream, people assume that every last black male aspires to be that.

Bottom line is that he's full of himself. People say it is because of the obvious,but he was like that before. I think most black(some white) rappers are a holes. Method Man,50,Eminem,Jay-Z all of them are snitches and can't wait to get on the radio to clown their baby mommas including the women who have supported them since day 1. I do have to say that A) I think Kanye is a jackass B) I think there were clear race issues at play here C) Those facts can and likely should be seperated to be discussed possibly.

I highly doubt that Kanye would've rushed up on that stage had some rock, pop, or R&B star won. I think Kanye has very little respect for country, which is dominated by white artists. I think he saw a talentless (in my opinion and his) white teenager getting reward by the same America who was shunning a hard working talent black woman (in his opinion...kinda in mine). And I don't think that perception is baseless. I think rap music, a black genre, rarely gets the respect it deserves from a large part of the country, the same largely white country audience.

None of this does anything however to change the fact he's a jackass who was pushing around a 17 year old girl because he could.

I am not striving to be the best poster. Just thought I'd mention that obama was caught off the record as calling Kanye a jack ass re: this event. You can find the clip on the web it's pretty funny . He doesn't know the cameras are still rolling and he just speaks his mind freely. Fortunately for him, most Americans agreed with his sentiment and just saw it as him being human instead of a political faux-pas.

First of all, it's widely known (thanks to Metallica, Pearl Jam, and others) that MTV discloses who the winners are to their handlers well beforehand. This means that anyone acting surprised when they win is doing just that.... ACTING!

Maybe Taylor was in on it, maybe she wasn't, but she's DEFINITELY acting in her seat when her name is announced so why not onstage, too?

Here's the biggest giveaway that it was staged.... Kanye West is scheduled the next day to be on THE MOST HYPED-UP SHOW ON NBC (Leno) on it's DEBUT episode. Hmmm, just a coincidence right? lol
