Also, about the quick cuts and edits....I assume the show was time-delayed. (Janet was performing after all ) There were things that are showing up in other videos that we didn't see on live TV. So they probably had 10-20 seconds to play around with. They have cameras in front of all of the nominees incase they win, so it wouldn't be a conincidence that there was one on Beyonce.

I find it sad and pathetic! Some people think their extensive vocabulary makes them superior! It just means they were good in Grammar. What they really need to learn is manners and civility.

This was definitely not plan...Taylor would NEVER agree to a publicity stunt like this..ESPECIALLY not when its her first VMA and a big moment in her life and career..Kanye is an ignorant sack of shit who needs to be shut up...I must admit I loved how even when they were showing his video package for video of the year nomination it was boo'd. What he did was so rude and disgusting

Yes, that's very good. Earlier I was wondering why they didn't grab him as soon as he walked out onto the stage, but now I think I know why.

If someone jostles you on the street, or tries to pick your pocket, you know what to do. But if someone's a guest in your home, and he takes out his dick and starts pissing in your living room (and it's not some kind of piss-fetish party), you'd be too stunned to know what to do.

Let this be the beginning of the backlash. MTV needs to ban him from future award shows. Of course they won't, but I'm a firm believer that repeated bad behavior needs repercussions. He has acted out of line at multiple music award shows now. The music industry needs to stop inviting him, nominating and promoting him.

That's where I am. I'm not a fan of any of the people involved, but this really should keep KW out of future award shows, if not blacklist him from receiving the awards themselves.

Beyonce did the respectable thing- to invite Taylor out for her moment. Personally Taylor's too bland and boring for my taste but then again, that's beside the point, because Beyonce is right- she deserved her moment on stage to shine.

I thought Beyonce showed tremendous grace. And if KW wasn't deeply shamed when he saw that, there's no hope for him.

In related news... I just am not buying this was staged. I don't believe Taylor is that good of an actress. I've had the displeasure of seeing her music video and she has her 'I'm sad!' or 'I'm happy!' or 'I'm surprised' faces but that wasn't what was goin' on last night. Last night was 'holy fuck! What the shit is happening... maybe I just smile or....maybe...fuck this is awkward...' face.

Did MTV LET it happen by not playing over him when they could andnot having security hold him back before he even got that far. And I'm sure the execs lapped it up. But I don't think it was planned on anyone's part. I think they expected GaGa to be the thing everyone was talking about afterwards. I think Kanye is just an impulsive asshole who has no respect for other people's opinions. I mean do I think she have won anything, no and a lot of people would agree with me. But it's the fucking VMAs... everyone knows it's meaningless.
