I'm sorry but I don't agree with you all. I feel as though she should have kept her mouth shut, and what she said about him was pretty cruel. I don't care how much you dislike someone, there are appropriate ways to express yourself. I think she crossed the line, especially given her status.

Why post it if you don't agree? Anyway, I love P!nk, she is the only female pop star I can listen to, and I love that she doesn't hold back. With OJ Simpson, I don't believe it was just because he was black, I believe the black community was just clinging to desperate hope that what white America was terrified of wasn't actually coming true. I believe it was the generation who came up during the whole Emmit Till drama were the ones who were defending him. If you lived during that time where a black teenager was beaten to death by white men because he allegedly whistled at a white woman, the last thing you want is to admit O.J. Simpson killed his white wife.

The asshole's defending Chris Brown aren't doing it because he's black. They're doing it because "he's cute" or "he's sexy" or "he's my future baby daddy." I strongly doubt his ethnicity has anything to do with it because, after all, he beat up a black woman. So saying people are defending him because he's black is like saying people are bashing him because Rhianna's black. It cancels it out.

This Kanye thing, saying the backlash is because he's black, is ridiculous. Black, white, Puerto Rican, Asian... you don't get on stage in the middle of someone else's acceptance speech, hijack the mic, and basically tell the entire auditorium that someone else should've won. Even if you think a video of three women dancing against a white background is the best video of all time, there's a time and place for you to say it. That wasn't it.
