It's not about quantity but QUALITY. Kanye will end up on more TOP 10 Album lists for 2010 than Swift.

In 10 years Swift will be remembered for the Kanye incident, while he will be for his body of work.

His latest album is all I've been listening to the past couple of weeks. Musically alone the album is really solid, no doubt one of the best albums of the year.

Hiphop album of the year, no question. I agree that it kind of sucked that we heard most of the songs before the album came out, but he tweaked them just enough to make them sound fresh.

I also don't mind that some of the songs are 6-8 minutes long, he does a good job keeping things interesting. The execution here isn't clumsy at all, as someone above suggested.

Yep! The album's running time is just over 70 minutes long yet it's such a good listen it doesn't even feel that long. There isn't a track on the album I skip, a real nice piece of work from Kanye all around.

I thought I read "All of The Lights" being the next single (a standout track for me) but now it will be "Monster."

Kanye West Earns NAACP Image Award Nominations

Kanye West is among the multiple nominees in the recording category for the upcoming NAACP Image Awards.

Nominations for the 42nd annual ceremony were announced today (Jan. 12) during a press conference at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, Calif. The telecast will air Mar. 4 on Fox.

Kanye West picked up nominations for: outstanding male artist and outstanding album, all for "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."

January 16, 2011. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that rapper Kanye West has thrown his hat into the another arena - ACTING!!! And in his first role, we hear he's going to be playing a GAY DUDE.

And it gets better, the movie will have a GAY LOVE SCENE IN IT!! Wowzers. Anyway, here's the full report, from an MTOer in the know:

Kanye has signed on to do some acting, in a flick about a GAY jazz band in 1939. He plays a GAY band member, and there is EXPLICIT gay sex in this movie.

It is being funded by ALL of his illuminati buddies, Will smith, Jay z and even Oprah has put some money into this movie. its a 20 million dollar film.

The script won 9 awards, so i think it's good. The Oscars Academy has this thing called the nicholl, a competition for screenplays, and the script for the movie won there twice, so I guess that means it will be one of those oscar films. It isn't the typical hood movie rappers do.

MediaTakeOut is full of shit. C'mon, you really think he'd do that, as paranoid Kanye is already? Jay-Z is notoriously homophobic, so I doubt he'd want to have anything "gay" attached to his name. And "Illumnati buddies"?

Plus, if it were true, we'd be hearing this all over the news.

Ugh! MediaFAKEout should stick to the only thing it does well... defacing "leaked" nude pics of black celebrities. The fake Omarion bisexual press release was more believable than this.

You mean like that conveniently cropped right at the head "leaked nude" shot he took "before he was famous?"

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that the "leaked" pic was taken with a high pixel camera phone/mobile device -- not with an actual digital camera, which would've been 95% more likely to have happened back in the early 00's before he was famous. You know -- before camera phones were commonplace?
