Who said anything about relevance? Teenage girls and gay guys are her base. She just needs a little of the mainstream to like her music for her to be relevant.

I think these numbers should tell Gaga and her record label, that teenage girls and gay men can only take her so far. She's going to have to type into a more mainstream audience.

^^^And an 11 year old girl outsold Gaga in a market (the US) FIVE times the size of the UK.

You're not "write" but wrong. Funny you compared Gaga to Rihanna. Rihanna isn't white and has had more hits off her latest album than Gaga. Rihanna has three (3) number ones ("Only Girl in the World", "What's My Name?", and "S&M" and her two latest singles are in the top 100 after just being released) off her latest album. Gaga has one and a pathetic one at that. Plus Rihanna is on her third album in four or five years. People are supposed to be tired of her (law of diminishing returns anyone?).

Don't forget too that Rihanna isn't a white singer. Like it or not, she has to cross racial bounds with music that isn't pop like Gaga's.

Again, Rihanna has three number ones. And Gaga? She's already on her third single in less than a month (lol at that alone).

Plus Rihanna isnt making pop and euro-music. And Adele's genre and cross-over appeal while outdoing Gaga just shows you how Gaga might not be the "it" person anymore. She's a British white woman making black music and is fluorishing in America.

Why didn't you complain when I mentioned Adele's race btw?

Last time I checked, before Gaga, r&b was doing fantastic in the US. Dance music? Not so much. Only Girl is a clear representation of pure r&b, latin, Caribbean beats though, can't argue with that, lol!

That means after the first week she sold three million copies if the two million world wide is indeed factual as first week sales.
