Sky Ferreira is the future of pop to me, she is INCREDIBLE! I even managed to get my hands on a signed AS IF! EP from her. I haven't heard all of those but I'll get straight to youtube, Elevator is already one of my favorites.

I don't really care what the next single is at this point, I just want to see a music video for every song on this album.

Government Hooker would be intense I would love to see her do Mary The Night in space.

I have to say Bloody Mary is my favorite track off the album, but I don't see it doing well as a single.

i think government hooker and HML would make immensely sexy videos.
but tbh, gaga prob learned her lesson by releasing judas. no way will she release not only a nother religiously controversial song, but also a song that's not typical for her. doubt it'll happen.

It's ok that you don't like her music, but hopefully you can appreciate what she has done for the gay community. Her success combined with her involvement in the LGBT community are a big sign of the times.

Thanks IllBFire. I liked Gaga's first album's singles. But I didn't write her a blank check. I don't like music just because an artist made it. That's lemming like behavior.

The refreshing part about Gaga's dismal sales is that even she has to put quality material out. People weren't just going to go along. She has her base and they bought it the first week. Now she's going to have to earn her money getting you and me to buy her music.

Whether or not you believe her intentions are genuine or not; the fact that she is forever attached to the gay community and the fact that she is so successful means a great deal. Her success is showing everybody out there that the gay community is not just a minority anymore but a strong demographic. The sooner we are seen that way the better for us.

Ya know what? I saw my very first Gaga video today!!! I have to say, as confused as I was over her popularity, I'm even more so now. Seriously, I just DO NOT GET that shit Actually, I couldn't even sit through more than a minute of the video...and I can usually sit through ANYTHING when nursing a buzz like I had at the time. More power to the girl I guess, but that shit is just not for me...

I don't get the Gaga thing and I don't think liking dick and liking Lady Gaga need to go hand and hand. I'm not into that type of music much and I'm not interested in the "diva" thing or drag queens. Not saying that stuff is bad; it's just not who I am. I'm bi so I don't know if that has anything to do with that and maybe the disinterest in that stuff has anything to do with the straight side of me lol.

With Lady Gaga personally, the more I see her, the more I can't stand her. I kinda wanted to get the whole thing because whenever I have anything to do with the gay community her fucking name pops up like she is the crusader for all of us. I find no distinction whatsoever between her music and anyone else's. If I hear a new song on the radio, I don't know if it's her unless they say it's her or when she does the whole ra ra Lady Gaga shit. I can tell when it's Beyonce, Rihanna, Pink, Madonna, etc. Hearing her in an interview is the most nauseating thing in the world. She compares herself to David Bowie and Queen yet her music is nothing like that and just a pure copy of Madonna except with less passion and intrigue. As is her entire image. She is way too pretentious to have such a generic quality about her. I've seen coverbands and drag queens that are more original than her. Oh well, hopefully she'll be gone soon.

As with many mainstream things, I tried to avoid Lady Gaga. I remember telling someone "if I hear "Poker Face" just one more time, I am going to turn off the radio forever." I was wrong. Her music, as did she, grew on me quickly. I remember not being a fan of Christina Aguilera, but then she released "Beautiful" with the gay kiss in the video (I ran out and bought the CD). If they are going to support us and help us, with their fame, to move forward, I am buying every song they are selling.

Very annoying. That 'They called me a freak too, but guess what? The Freaks are now the cool kids' message is corny and lame.

Other people can bask in her pom-pom's if they want, but I don't feel affirmed by Gaga being an advocate for gay rights. It's condescending as hell to me.
