Gaga will Appear on Upcoming Episode of ‘The Simpsons’

simpsons.jpg

Lady Gaga is set to guest in the upcoming episode of The Simpsons titled “Lisa Goes Gaga.” In the storyline, the singer comes to Springfield to to cheer up a dejected Lisa through “the power of speech, song and a flash mob,” Entertainment Weekly reports.

Gaga told EW: “I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor. That’s what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines.”

“I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done,” she added. “My dad’s probably going to do eighty backflips when the episode comes out.”

The Simpsons creator Matt Groening says he is proud to add Gaga in the list of the series’ guest stars: “Since the very beginning, I’ve always wanted to have on the most iconic personalities of our time, and she’s it. It’s very hard to top reality with her, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something that is going to be as improbable as her usual wardrobe.”

“Lisa Goes Gaga” airs in early 2012 as part of the 23rd season of the animated series.

It's nice to see the legends stan for Gagita.

She look so pretty in the picture above!

Kinda reminds me of an early Amy Winehouse. Blonde.

‘Yoü And I’ Reaches New Peak on Billboard Hot 100

Lady Gaga’s new single “Yoü And I” has reached a new peak on Billboard’s top 100 songs chart. The track jumps 61 spots to No. 35, earning the Digital Gainer award with over 56,000 downloads sold and a 261% increase from the previous week.

The song first entered the Hot 100 chart back in May, when it shot to No. 36 due to strong digital sales following the release of Born This Way. The only other non-single to chart on the week of the album release was “Marry the Night,” which reached No. 76.

On Radio Songs, “Yoü And I” makes a strong debut at No. 58 with 22 million audience impressions (up 112%). Earlier this week, Lady Gaga sent special local versions of the single to radio stations across the United States; be sure to call your station and request the new version!

Meanwhile, Gaga’s official video for the hit song now has more than 12 million views. The visual is ranked this month’s top rated, top favorite, most discussed and viewed music video on YouTube.

VMA's producer on Gaga
Ignjatovic: She's a gem. She's that muse. She's sort of the artist that's really pushing boundaries that mean so much to our audience. And she is the artist that everyone is looking to. Like, what is she going to do next to outdo herself and take it to another place? I think she's inspired other artists to push themselves. I know she’s inspired me and the VMA team.

MTV is over-hyping her performance so much for ratings. They literally have a banner saying "Epic is an understatement". ](*,)

If the bitch doesn't deliver everyone will be coming for her head online.

On the other hand we might get her best performance to date...

Gaga on the VMA

(youtube.com/watch?v=pItxQ7ETnA8l non HQ back up in case they remove the first one.)

The VMAs were pretty cool, the best ones in a lot of time. I don't know if, to me, Gaga topped VMA 2009. Both performances are so different in every single way it makes it hard for me to choose. It was incredible nonetheless and Brian May put the cherry on top with his rock vibe, which is what I thought had been missing before he appeared, and made it just perfect imo.

Gaga and Bey stole the show for sure. :=D:

I'm also glad she took 2 moon men home, she's now the second biggest VMA winner, only after Madonna, in just 3 years. She's coming for that wig!

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIcOHn9QyD8[/ame]

She's hilarious, but it got so awkward at times.

Re: The Official LADY GAGA Mega-thread

Re: The Official LADY GAGA Mega-thread

Gotta say that while I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga, seeing her like that made me wish she had a strap on and I was on all fours for her.

If it does, she'll tie Mariah Carey with 11 consecutive US singles to enter the Top 10 (3rd only to Whitney with 13, and Madonna/Janet with 17)! :rb:

Fucking flop bitch! Eh, fellas? LOL

Lady Gaga is ranked #9 in Vanity Fair's top 50 most influential business people.

cn_image.size.lady-gaga-pr.jpg

This year’s New Establishment list identifies the top 50 of an innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies, and entrepreneurs—“The Age of Information gives way to a burgeoning Age of Technology,” as Graydon Carter puts it. Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the inescapable social-networking site Facebook, maintains his perch at the top of the 17th annual New Establishment List for the second year in a row. With a possible I.P.O. on the horizon by 2012, which could value the company anywhere between $50 and $100 billion, Facebook has enough clout to worry even the unshakable Google. Zuckerberg is still the youngest person ever to top the list.

Sergey Brin and Larry Page, co-founders—of Google are in the No. 2 spot, closing in on Zuckerberg as they jump up one spot, from No. 3 in 2010. Eric Schmidt, who appeared on the list last year with the duo, has since been pushed out of the C.E.O’s office, replaced by Page.

Rounding out the top five are Jeff Bezos, of Amazon, at No. 3, Tim Cook and Jonathan Ive, of Apple, at No. 4, and Twitter and Square founder Jack Dorsey, at No. 5.

Lady Gaga makes an appearance for the second year in a row. Coming in at No. 9, she is the highest-ranking woman on the list, in front of J. K. Rowling at No. 16, Sheryl Sandberg, of Facebook, at No. 26, Angela Ahrendts with Christopher Bailey, of Burberry, at No. 30, Natalie Massenet at No. 32, and Kara Swisher with Walt Mossberg at No. 40. At 25 years old, Gaga is also the youngest person on the list—not a surprise for someone whose fans managed to crash Amazon’s servers in their desperation to download her third album.

Youthful energy is spread throughout this year’s list with 15 members under the age of 40, including Zuckerberg, Brin and Page, Dorsey, Lady Gaga, Andrew Mason, Sean Parker, Ryan Kavanaugh, Jeremy Stoppelman, Ashton Kutcher, Dennis Crowley, Daniel Ek, Mikael Hed and Niklas Hed, and Justin Timberlake.

There are 14 billionaires on the list: Zuckerberg, Brin and Page, Bezos, Mark Pincus, Michael Moritz, J. K. Rowling, Jim Breyer, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Allen III, Yuri Milner, Robin Li, Parker, and Peter Thiel.

Five member of the New Establishment are actively involved in space exploration, including Brin, Elon Musk, Bezos, Thiel, and Dennis Crowley. Eight of the New Establishment nominees can count themselves members of the ever growing Stanford Mafia; they include Brin, Page, Reed Hastings, Jim Breyer, Hoffman, Musk, Thiel, and John Hennessy.

And now, the big reveal—check back next week for more exclusive New Establishment features!
