ofcourse it matters because justice and fairness matters. Gaga is truely the best this year noone comes close. Gaga does it all. She is the definition of best new artist.

Clearly you never saw her SNL performance earlier in the year.

That was when i started taking her seriously. I was blown away by her vocals and overall presentation.

Youd be crazy to think that 2009 does not belong to Lady Gaga. And yeah, like others have said, she is an amazing singer in addition to all of her antics.

OMG I was at her concert last night and it was INCREDIBLE. Man that chick has pipes! Anyone who says "she can't sing" is just stupid. Easily one of (if not THE) best concerts I have ever been to in my life (and I saw her last year too). My legs are in serious pain today from all the dancing and jumping around. lol

She DEFINITELY deserves best new artist, she has skyrocketed to fame quicker than anyone ever!

So I was there last night, and I must say it was AMAZING. Easily one of the best times I have ever had at a concert. She was just awesome. My legs are killing me today from dancing and jumping around. LOL

I can't decide if I'm more pissed off that you elevated Lady Gaga to the level of Cirque Du Soleil or that you drug Cirque Du Soleil down to the level of Lady Gaga. Unlike GogoGaga, the outfits mean something.

Oh, and as for what the OP should wear: dress up in the worst drag possible. Take a shot every time someone mistakes you for Lady Gaga.

Ear plugs is actually a good idea. It will be loud enough that you will hear the music, but your ears won't be ringing for days afterward.

A pair of sturdy shoes, that you don't mind being stepped on, are my suggestion. You'll most likely be crowded in between people at some point, and they will be stepping on your feet repeatedly.
