WOW. Lady Gaga's album bombed again this week. It fell to number 8, selling just 48,000 copies. In comparison, Adele's old album is still at number three and sold 101,000 copies this week. Did I mention that Adele doesn't do pop music like Gaga, meaning she has a significantly smaller potential audience. Despite this, she's kicking Gaga's ass like she stole something.

Oh God! How could I even survive without posting about Gaga in a gay porn forum with 5 or 6 people (and that's being optimist) reading what I post.

Interesting question and I've thought about her talking about her being bi yet everyone considers her to be one of the "allies" of the LGBT community. Theoretically she should be the B in LGBT. I can't speak for all bisexual people even if she can somehow speak for all gay men lol. I see myself marrying someone someday but it's not a very clear image and I'm not even too sure how realistic it would be to do so. I'm 24 now and I don't have that stuff figured out all that well yet. I have to come to terms with the things I want and need in my life so I can't fully answer that one. Right now I feel a slightly higher physical attraction to men but that's not always the case. Not like "oh I'll be gay this week and straight the next" but it has evolved. I was in a relationship with a girl for 3 years and it was both sexual and loving. We broke up on things completely unrelated to my sexuality. I haven't had long term relationships with men, so I don't 100% know where I stand on the bi scale. I just know I like having sex with both men and women, therefore I'm not straight or gay.
I have seen a lot of women, particularly young women who say they are bi but don't do anymore than make out with a girl and go home with a guy. I don't know Lady Gaga personally so I can't say if she is in that category. However it is hard to ignore that her saying she is bi would only help her image. If Justin Timberlake or John Mayer said they were bi, it would probably be entirely different and they would probably be liked almost exclusively by the LGBT community. It is much more acceptable to be a bi girl, so it's hardly controversial. Fergie, Nelly Furtado and even Dusty Springfield generations ahead of her time have openly come out as bi. And her muse/original copy Madonna has shown her "interest" in women so of course Lady Gaga kinda has to go that route. So I would think she is going against what she is saying. Her statements and image reminds me of a t-shirt I saw years ago saying "I want to be different so I can be like everyone else". She talks about being different and so unique but she's going with the trends, even in sexuality whether intentionally or not. I'm not saying she has to prove she's really bi by marrying a girl, but it seems a little contrived and transparent to me. I wouldn't think of it if she didn't put herself out there as the emperor of gay men. You would think she would identify herself more with lesbians but lesbians are probably less interested in her than gay men. She knows where the money is.
