Pretty pumped about ARTPOP...haven't had a single, solitary, decent mainstream pop album since Born This Way (although her best tracks weren't singles, oddly enough).

I just wish she'd make a rockier album though, her rendition of King of Pain was great. :(

I'll never understand why Gaga said something about how Born This Way was partly inspired by Kiss and heavy metal music. I can't say I heard it...

I second your post though. I love "You and I". It's more of a rock ballad which seems to be a sound that suits her and she could explore further.

They ended their friendship in early 2012. Gaga decided to have a media blackout in Feb 2012. She respectfully declined all interviews. He asked for one - an exclusive interview to prove she'd make an exception for Queen Perez - Gaga declined and he's been pressed ever since. Perez joined forces with Madonna is calling BTW a rip off of 'Express Yourself' soon after. Meh.
 
The couple other places I've seen it posted it was reported as a demo. So, hopefully the final version is much better. Also there hasn't been an official release of a track listing yet, so even if it is a demo or not we don't even know if it will be on the album.
 
Burqa sucks. Hopefully it stays the fuck away from the album unless serious work is done to make it resemble a song.
 
Not that I hate on Katy Perry, I think she's decent...but I am thoroughly amused how the Internet went insane over 11 seconds of Gaga and it took a day for anyone to care about Perry.

Idk what you're talking about her fans were going crazy over it and websites were making headlines over the song.

When did applause leak??? I have only heard Burqa....which was ok and better than btw as the lead single. Which gives me hope that she will release good dance album this time.
 
Only snippets "leaked" of Applause, two of them did. They're only like 8 seconds each. So, it is obviously more likely a hype train scheme rather then an actual leak.

I do like the chorus in Burqa and it sounded familiar to me, then Gaga posted Madeon is also producing on this album. His own sound is generally electro dance, so I am pumped to hear more of it on the album.
