The original title of the film Child's Play (which introduced the evil doll Chucky) was Blood Buddy.
Great title. They should have gone with that.

In Asia, where soy sauce is from? I'd have to look it up.

Jupiter doesn't actually orbit the sun-- its mass is great enough that the point it orbits is outside the sun's surface!
Earth is the only planet not named after a god.
For decades, horror fans have lamented the disappearance of one of the most mysterious low budget horror films ever made. Popularly known as The Last House On Dead End Street, it was released on VHS in the 80's but quickly went out of print. A DVD release in the 90's disappointed and angered fans because it was heavily edited and terribly mastered. The film became legendary soon after it's 1977 theatrical release because of its inscrutable history; no one knew who really made it or even what it's original title was. Despite it's woozy, arthouse atmosphere and truly creepy ritualistic elements, it was rumored to be an actual snuff film (it isn't). The title is still not out on video and unavailable for streaming. Or is it?
It is. A while back, the director, Roger Watkins, went public with all the details that for so many years had remained buried. Vinegar Syndrome, a video distributor, obtained a copy and mastered it in high def but because of some legal snafu, was unable to release it as a title.
But you can still see it. Just buy a copy of Corruption, a hideous heterosexual porno film made in the late 70's by the same director. On the main menu, you must toggle down to the last option, then press the down button exactly six more times and it will appear in it's complete, reprehensibly perverse glory. No features, no chapter stops, just the most wonderfully unpleasant unpleasant horror film ever made, hidden deeply within an obscure, forgotten het porn.
Elaborating on that...
Watkins's original cut of the film (now lost) ran approximately three hours in length."
It was titled "The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell", a reasonably apt title for the print that remains.
A reasonably apt title for anything Hollywood has produced in the past 125 years or so... with a few (due) exceptions like the Chaplin-Keaton-Lloyd-Bowers heritage, or the Marx Brothers and the Orson Welles films.
