LOL! This is totally going up on my facebook lol... this is situational irony in its finest lol.

Too many heart attack burgers did the job lol.

Wasn't that place owned by a former nutritional doctor or something lol?

The problem with this one is the restaurant can't be sued because they didn't lie about the consequences.

exactly... the irony of it all. smh.

and yeah, i think the place was owned by a former nutritional doctor or something like that. i knew that there was a huge controversy going on when this place first opened because of the menu and how unhealthy it was. smh @ one burger being almost 8,000 calories. didn't the boondocks spin a parody about this called "the itis". :rotflmao:

yes, lol, damnit. yes, it's funny. he fucked up.

I feel a bit guilty about laughing about this one... but... it just goes to show people need to have a bit more responsibility. Unless you're hiking up a mountain, I don't think eating a 6,000 calorie burger is wise. But hey freedom of choice../. right?

don't be. he screwed up. if he didn't want to get sick, he should have exercised regularly as well as ate properly too. this is what happens when you neglect yourself. i'm sure he could have put all that money and time he wasted into the gym. bet he wish he did that now. i have no sympathy for him. he had an appetite for destruction and he got it.

it's terrible that the guy had a heart attack

..and the menu is just as terrible #-o

...it's fucking ridiculous

must have been a taste worth dying for. for some people, it's get fed or die hungry even if they eat more food than the average person.

Yeah I saw this exact same diner on TV... on some crazy eats show or something.

And the restaurant can be sued for what happened. They'll simply say "We didn't lie about our food".

A 6,000 calorie burger and it's not even their worse? WTF. And it'll be even more with lard fries and the super jumbo soda that goes with it. Or maybe the highest butter fat shake... yuck. You'll be looking at 7,500-8,000 calories... jeez... I eat that much in 4 days.

yeah, that's true then again, if they don't have a disclaimer or a medical warning or made people sign waivers or whatever, then they probably could be sued.

however, just the name of the place is a turn off though especially at somewhere like las vegas.

I wonder if you have to pay double if you can't finish the burger or something. that would just be cruel. I'd buy the first burger and never come back :p

That's seriously the menu? Who on earth would ever eat that quadruple bypass burger?! Dear God. :O

I also like how there's just "candy" randomly there. XD It's all "OMG! Look, they even have freaking candy!!!" XDXD

But it is an unfortunate situation for that man. =(

You're insanely perceptive, refujiunderground.

You're certain this man eats there regularly and doesn't exercise on a regular basis?

i wouldn't know and i don't care. all i know is that he must have been unhealthy because this doesn't happen to a healthy person. you can't say that that's not true. even if he didn't eat there and did exercise, he most definitely wasn't healthy in order for that to happen to him. heart attacks don't usually happen to people in good health.

Simply eating there is not going to kill you unless it is representative of your standard diet fare which is not the restaurant's fault. A single high fat/calorie meal in and of itself is insignificant but it can be the straw that broke the camels back. However, I don't think the meal was the real cause since it happened at the restaurant, his body would hardly have had time to digest it. Makes for a bit of irony though.

It's probably just as funny as laughing at Whitney Houston's drug abuse killing her, right?

Nope, it´s way funnier because that guy asked for it that much.

To be as funny, Whitney Houson should have died while asking her drugdealer for a dicount as a long time costumer. Her death simply lacks the irony.

Anyway, if you lol about it or not, there is no reason to feel sorry for that guy. He worked hard for this and spend lots of money to achieve what he did.

I don't see the irony in truth in advertising, other than the fact that such a thing still exists.

Many of us here remember a time when things were much different than they are today.

You can either abandon the ship or you can fix the holes in it; you cannot wish for the old one back.
