Olympics 2012 Closing Ceremony

Anyone else watching it when it comes on?


Obviously it'll be hugely scaled down compared to the Opening Ceremony, but hopefully it'll still be worth a watch.


Considering they haven't had access to the arena for rehearsals for the last couple of weeks (because of erm....the Olympics), I think it'll be interesting to see if they manage to pull it off without any mistakes.

I don't know why Britain does this sort of shit to itself. They're awful and waaaaay past it.

Do you think there's any way at all they could be worse than Paul McCartney?

The only thing that would make me watch the Spice Girls would be if La Beckham sulked and walked off and the others had a cat fight and tore each other's extensions out. I'll be listening to Schoenberg's Gurrelieder from the Proms. No contest. Excuse me, it's about to start.

NBC will not let viewers in the USA watch it until 7:30pm CDT.

They have to scrub it first -- just like they did all the Olympics.

40% of coverage in the US was volleyball -- what's up with that?

Looking forward Rio and another network.

Normally I'd be like right behind you, but maybe they do know what's best for me? (Daytime vs. primetime.) I mean, women's wrestling and rhythmic gymnastics? Be serious.

Would you ever watch that if you weren't absolutely forced to?
