Thanks for waiting till I had watched it before mentioning anything important guys
I've seen it now, although I had to watch on the internet - cos Sky is a bastard.
Anyway, i thought that it was an amazing opening to Season 5 - it progressed fairly quickly and was just perfect LOST!
All that time-travelling stuff was cool - confusing slightly, but still easy to follow on. I think we might be getting most of the island's secrets this year.
And I disagree with grantt saying that Hugo's mum wouldn't have believed him. Every mother can tell when their son is telling the truth/or lying, so when she saw the way he was she believed him. I think that is was the perfect way to do it. And when Hurley denied Ben to get arrested!!!!
He gets visited by all the ghosts of his dead friends to get him back to the Island and he still refuses to trust Ben - well it's all Sayid's fault. People used to say Sayid was always right, but he hasn't. He stabbed Sawyer in the arm that time he was torturing him for Shannon's medicine. And now he's being stupid.
Kate's was interesting - I don't know, I thought they were working for Sun. But when Kate went to see her it unnerved me. Sun was quite scary, but she said they weren't trying to expose the truth about the island... although if they find out that Aaron is not Kate's it leads to the same thing anyway.
I love Evangeline's ability to play a mother. When they were playing in the lift, it was just so real - just that made me want to cry. I'm so weird!
I think Sun's transition to the bad side was realistic actually, she has been pushed and pushed and finally she's doing things for herself. I believe the creator's of the show tried to explore this earlier in the series. When she shot Coleen on the boat, when Jin's mother blackmailed her for money and she threatened to kill her. It's all been quite clever really, Sun isn't the innocent girl she used to be.
Oh and Doughboy, it's the future they cannot change
I can't think of anything else... oh wait - the old psychic woman. Who's probably not really psychic just travelling back in time. I thought she was Charlotte's mother, not Daniel's.
Oh and could someone explain why Charlotte was going through the same symptoms as Desmond?
Oh, and how real was the scene when they were going to cut of Juliet's hand?! Her screams were intense man!
Ok, that is it this time
