LOST - parts that make you cry. *

sometimes this show gets too confusing if you try to THINK about it. So...the best thing to do I guess, is just sit back and enjoy it......

^ I think that too, the only way to properly enjoy watching this show is to go in with a really open mind.

However, I do like to think about what we will see or what will happen next. It's just a common curiosity - so it's lucky I'm not a cat.

i bet Widmore was banned from the island around the time Ben became leader, or that there was some kind of power struggle between the two and that's why they hate each other so much. i'm sure "the rules" they reference are rules made by Jacob.

Miles is also becoming one of my favorite characters. Charolette kind of annoys me.

also, i couldn't help but "awwww" when it revealed that Desmond had named their son Charlie. and i pretty much hated Charlie.

LOST is just one of the best show ever ! lol

well that was one hell of an episode ! lil bit hard to figure everything out but still very interesting...

- Ms hawking being the mother of Dan is almost too easy to undrstand ... and it's LOST

- The bomb ...well is there any possiblity that it has been buried, meaning its now under a dharma station possibly the hatch ?????

- Ellie is someone important anyway... they wouldnt introduce her like that if she wasnt

- That sucks for charlotte but if she needs her constant, I was thinkin that she problly never met her father ... and thats probably what she'll need but i doubt she'll find him. and why is she the only one to suffer ?? (and why dan doesnt say it to her)

- Young widmore was one of the WTF moment in LOST, priceless

- Faraday is becoming one of the most important character... IMO he's the one who'll give us the answers we want.

- Charlie ... that was nice and I did the same awwwwwwwwww

- The Lock/richard story : I was thrilled coz the plot of CABIN FEVER made sens in a second.


Well the show is giving more answers now, and i'm glad it does... S5 might top S4 actually if it keeps gettin better...
That was cool to learn bout the "old-others" and I'm glad we get to see one period of time during one episode much better !!

Richard told Locke that he would have to die in order to get the O6 back to the island - I think this was the only persuasive thing John had at his disposal, Jack would not go back if he didn't read the obituary for Jeremy Bentham - that was the true indication that everyone was in danger.

Well the submarine will still be there in the past so it seems likely that John has to leave on the submarine.

That was one hell of an episode! I always check the ratings on IMDB just to see what other people think of the episode, and there were quite a few who were disappointed. Said they didn't like the idea of the island moving at the end of season 4 and now that they have introduced time travel have really lost themselves. However, I think that since then they have actually found themselves. There's been no slow, nothing-is-actually-happening episodes and it has brought a great refreshment to LOST.

So you don't think Mrs. Hawkins is Dan's mother? Is that what the wink was? Maybe she's his father!!!

Yes, I would say that the bomb has been buried - although I did not think of it being under the hatch... And I'm not sure if I think it is under there. It would be interesting, at least we would know why the hatch ended up in bits.

Yeah, I agree, Ellie is important. It seems you're on the fence about whether we've met her yet and how she connects?

The only reason I think she is suffering is because she was on the island before - remember she hinted that she was still looking for where she was born and that was her reason for staying on the island? I believe this is why she is suffering. And Desmond's suffering was because he was all over the place in the first place after he turned the failsafe key. I think.

Yep, I suspected that he was Whidmore - just because of his accent - but it was still, like, WTF at the way it was announced. Just like normal LOST bombshells!

Farraday is easily one of the most likeable characters on LOST - his nervousness and his determination to find out what the time travel is all about make him really admirable (and cute) he is also crucial to the new plot points.

Yep, I loved the fact that they named him Charlie - I don't agree with the theories that he is Charlie Pace though...

Which plot in Cabin Fever? I don't remember that one. Is that the one where Richard goes to see Locke as a child? I'm pretty sure it is. Anyway, it explains that storyline anyway so that must be the one!

Yep Season 5 is shaping up to be an amazing and explosive season (as usual)
I'm also glad that they are changing the pace of the island's moving through time. It makes it a lot more scary as you cannot predict at which point things are going to change and also allows for them to make more important pit stops in time.

- Richard has a good knowledge of the island.... but still he cant buy the fact that Lock's coming from the future... its weird since he knows everything i figured he wouldn't be suprised (since the island's wierd anyway)

- dont u think that Ellie & Widmore could have made a beautiufl couple... maybe even had a child... and problly someone we know...

Well first of all that's good to know, I think it's too easy as well. I think the two are connected but not by mother and son bonds.

But what about the whole electormagnetic things going on underneath the hatch. And the hatch did explode/implode - so did the hydrogen bomb cause that? I don't think it's a bomb, personally, but at the same time I have no ideas myself so your theory is, of course, plausible.

I'm pretty sure that Ellie is both of those...

Definitely would not make sense.

Maybe it wasn't the fact that Locke came from the future - more the fact that he was telling Richard stuff he didn't know. And he's supposed to know everything because he's in touch with Jacob (by the looks of things)

I think Whidmore is far too power hungry to actually spend time with a woman on an emotional level - I think describing him and Ellie as a couple is pushing it a bit far. I'd say it's possible that they slept with one another. In that case Penny is their love-child? I think Penny has a different mother - perhaps Charlotte was the result of this?

Oh, I have another thing to support the theory that it's Charlotte's mother we should be looking out for as her constant. She told Daniel that she couldn't remember her mother's maiden name. That is a significant something -wouldn't you agree?

I'd go with Charlotte too, although it does look like she copped it a good'un. Do you think she can make it back? Or is she actually dead? She didn't seem to be going as crazy as Desmond did...

With Daniel though, I know he is supposed to be English (I think) but isn't it an American actor that plays him? I know he ran away but he just doesn't sound British.
One of my favourite things about Daniel is the way he tries to explain the unexplainable. "I'm trying to render it... inert." It's just the way he hesitates slightly before saying inert. Besides I like that word - Inert. sounds cool.

I hope she's not dead. I love Charlotte - she was feisty and brought a lot to the show. And poor Juliet will be the only potential love interest left. Miles seems interested in her, and Sawyer seems to be getting on well with her... Another love triangle? Just kidding.

I am confused about that too, Desmond's was quite straightforward because we knew who he was. We don't know anything about Charlotte. I'm pretty sure though, that the constant doesn't have to be a person. It just has to be something that existed in the persons past and present/future. Desmond had to ask whether it could be a person remember?

Well we won't know if she is major for the show until we find out who she is. Since a lot of the major plot lines seemed to revolve around her - Ben says he was born on the island to make him seem special. Charlotte comes to the island and refuses to leave because she says she is still looking for where she was born and then this constant business? I dunno...

Yep, Juliet actually has proper screen time this season - thank goodness - last season was a complete waste of her talent. And she is probably the most interesting character on the show - although Daniel is fast on her heels for that title.

I think it explains the whispers too, especially since the whispers are backwards - don't you think? They won't be able to see themselves, that will create one of those time paradox things...

Oh, this season is going to be just awesome!!!

We are going to get a lot of answers this season - although not all since otherwise Season 6 would be irrelevant. Can't wait to see what Claire is up to in Jacob's cabin!

And the survivors seeing the crash would be awesome! Juliet has already seen it so she'll be like "meh, whatever" lol!!

Yes, Jack was not in that one. I might have to go watch all of my LOST now just to see which episodes he's not in (though I'm pretty sure Jughead is the only one)

Overall which episode do you think has been the best one so far of Season 5?

i'd go with Jughead coz the plot is settled up ... and it's better so far... but we've only seen 3 ep.
