Lost season 4

So they Oceanic 6 are:

Jack
Kate
Jin
Hurley
Sayid

and who? I don't think that Aaron qualifies, but maybe.

that's what I wanna know....does Aaron count? Or does Jin count and he just died when they got home? Oh PS you're missing Sun from that list

Oops. Meant Sun instead of Jin:

So the Oceanic 6 are:

Jack
Kate
Sun
Hurley
Sayid
?

I think that Jin is still alive and on the island. Someone else mentioned that on Jin's headstone, the date of his death is the date of the crash. Not really sure why everyone is covering this up.

Next week's episode will be the last until April 24 (that damned writers strike). Then there will be 5 more which will take us to the season finale. Although I hear that next week's is going to be nearly as exciting as the finale's have been.

Did you guys see the preview for next week's episode? It looks like Sayid wants to beat the crap out of Michael. Who could blame him after he murdered Ana-Lucia and Libby. Can't wait for next week's show.

And I read today that one of those five episodes will feature the ageless wonder Richard character who had been one of Ben's top men in The Others' community. According to TV Guide, it's an episode that will reveal some interesting revelations. I had early posted that I thought he was killed off until professor Qixote corrected me.

And isn't a cast member supposed to be killed off next week? Any guesses on who this unfortunate soul might be?

I'm thinking that it will be either Claire or Juliet. If it's Claire, that would explain how Kate eventually leaves the island with Aaron. And really, Claire's character doesn't seem to serve any purpose anymore; she always seems in the way.

Or maybe it's Juliet. They've been building her character up alot this season, so it could be a big setup to make her loss seem more shocking.

We at least know who it isn't: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, or even Ben. Unless one of them were to die in a flash forward scene.

Here's a sneak peak at next week's episode. I don't see any obvious clues in it:

With Lost, even a simple scene like that has great tension....thanks!!

I've thought about Clarie, too. But again, just like the Micheal as a spy plot, this, too, would be telegraphed. I mean, after the flash-forward with Kate and Aaron, you couldn't help but think that Claire must die. She was the first person I thought of. I would hate to think I'm 2-0 with plot devices because Lost is usually so good at trickery. We also know that Jin dies so he would be another easy candidate.

It could really be a very small character like Ben's daughter...or one of the new characters on the island from the freighter.

If it is Juliet, I will quit watching!!! I love her and would be as angry as when the killed off Boone. But, I can't help but wonder if they've told all they can about her character.

I say bring back Patches and kill him again;)!!!!

Well I just got done rewatching last night's episode, and I now am convinced that he never died. The final scene with her talking to the gravestone seemed more like she was talking to him at a far away place. And with the date of his death showing as the same as the day the plane crashed. . .

The Oceanic 6 got off the island. The rest are still there still waiting to be rescued, including Jin. If I'm wrong, then last night's episode will seem largely pointless to me.

I don't know which person for sure dies but I know out of a list of 7 characters, some of which includes new people and Others, that the person to die is anoriginalplanecrashsurvivor so I have my predictions.

I want to say that it's Claire because of not only Kate's flashforward but the way they've been handling her character. Last we saw of her she wanted to have a talk with Miles. I'd like to think Miles wouldn't kill her, but at the same time who is to say he has a choice.

My other guess is Sawyer. Hurley has said, the ship has brought the island another Sawyer. And while I'd hate if it was him, Sawyer is one of few people we'd all care if he died and the writers know it.

Personally, I have never cared for the Sawyer character, but I've warmed up some to him lately. Nevertheless, he is so popular with women viewers that I don't think they would kill him. Too many more Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle stories still to be milked from them.

It it has to be an original, Claire would still be the logical choice. What about Bernard or his wife? Gosh, there aren't that many originals left.

FYI: EW.com says that Aaron would count as one of the Oceanic 6, so they think we now have all 6.

In keeping up with my weekly update. . . major spoilers below.

So, we met "Kevin Johnson." The episode's biggest revelation was perhaps not how Michael came to be Kevin Johnson, but rather that Tom (Mr. Friendly) is (was) gay. That certainly explains what he said to Kate in an episode from last season: "You're not my type."

And we see how they decided to deal with Walt's growth problem. They just showed his face in a window so it wasn't obvious how fast he is growing in real life. I get the feeling were not going to be seeing much more of Walt, no less find any real answers to his several mysteries we've seen in past seasons.

In addition to Tom's "resurrection" in the show, it was nice to see several other dead characters return. Most notable was Libby, who came back to haunt her murderer Michael.

We got treated to another round in the ongoing game "Who staged the crash of Oceanic 815?" Tom reveals to Michael that Charles Widmore is behind the whole thing. This of course completely contradicts Widmore's freighter crew who said last week that Ben set the whole thing up. Somebody here's not telling the truth.

Then we got to see the next Lost fatality, rather, fatalities. Ben sends Alex's real mother Rousseau and Alex's boyfriend Karl to their death, with Alex spared by their side. I guess the other 2 just didn't fit into his delusional family picture. But we now know that he has 2 Losties working for him - Sayid and now Michael.

Now we have a month-long hiatus until Lost returns April 24.

This was a fantastic episode. Maybe because you felt like you were getting answers at least as the relate to "...so what was Michael doing all that time?"

First, I noted at the beginning of the program that Karl is kinda cute and how Lost IMHO has got no sex appeal (damn them making me watch for content). Then, of all the people to knock off, that pick sweet little Karl and I've always thought Roussea was awesome. She rarely speaks and does her acting with her eyes and physicality. I will miss them both. I could have found alot of better folks on the island to knock off. I was just so disappointed. When that last scene started, I immediately thought, 'no don't let one of these die' and lo' and behold, they off 2 of them.

I knew Tom was gay. The week before the episode where Tom said to Kate "you're not my type", there was a mag interview, I believe, where the show creator was answering a question about, 'why hasn't there been a gay character on the island' to which, he stated, 'you'll learn that there is one this week'. When the ep aired, I was 'so, it's Tom.' Very subtle!

Now I'm wondering what the captain will do to Michael since Sayid blabbed. Remember, we are assuming that it was Michael who slipped the survivors the note under the door stating not to trust the captain. The captain had that 'I already know that' look at the conclusion.

I think we'll see Walt again. From the interview with the creators, they hinted that the Aaron/Walt characters growth spurts would be explained in a future storyline about certain powers on the island. Considering Michael could not kill himself, I guess accelerated growth can have some rationale, too.

Great stuff. At least we won't have to wait until next year to get see some more eps.

is danielle and karl dead? i hope not. i dont want to see anyone die again.

oh it's nice that Libby's back (as a ghost). i miss her on the show.

Karl is dead, bummer. I absolutely loved Miles's comment that Ben always manages to get what he wants. Hand on daughters ass, bullet(s) in body 1 day later. Ben rules!

Rousseau I'm not so sure about. I'd like her not to be dead but we soon shall see. Can I just say boo to the ABC promo department for promising us a death and neglecting to even show us Rousseau or Karl? As if no one would care they're dead.

Walt in a window because they don't know what to do with a growing boy. A growing teenager has stumped the writers of the most unique show on television. Go figure.

Loved Sayid outing the captain. I was half expecting the captain to tell them he already knew about Michael (we're on the same wavelength apparently Sammie13). I'm feeling bad for Michael. Jerk, definitely. Traitor, absolutely. Like Ben said though, what wouldn't a father do for his son and I'd like to think my own father would do all the same and more for me if he had to. The only friend he'll have on the island is Locke. And that's no longer a good thing like it used to be.

Tom being gay=total fan service to us. Yay! Although, I'm still waiting for the hot, gay character I know will probably never happen.

We should start our pools now: next Lost character to die will be? Hopefully not Claire, but probably will be her is my guess. Going totally off the wall bonkers my second guess would be Rose or Bernard. Easy to get rid of because viewers have less of an attach rate to them and easy way to bring the surviving character to the forefront without being some random newbie we don't care about, ala Niki and whatshisface.

Good episode, highly revelatory. How we will cope til Apr 24th?

Although, I'm still waiting for the hot, gay character I know will probably never happen.

I still say that hot, gay character already was Boone, given the several gay innuendos that Shannon said to him. Many people have disputed this solely on the episode where Shannon and Boone were in bed together, apparently after having (incestuous) sex. But it still doesn't explain why Shannon regular took her gay shots at Boone. That's just an odd thing to do, even for a sister who occasionally acted like a bitch. My theory was that Boone pissed her off after she discovered he was gay. The stories behind Boone and Shannon unfortunately ended too quickly, so we'll never know what their deal was. . . . Or will we?

I agree, Qixote, that it felt like that was the direction they were going in with Boone. That entire storyline just seemed incomplete and his sexual orientation was left as ambiguous. I wonder if they'll ever fill-in more back story or if the creators have moved on and won't be looking back to the Boone/Shannon story.

I really hate that they had a brother/sister combo on the show and killed off both of them, eliminating any chance of finding out anything more intimate about either of them. Sure they can always pop up in other people's flashbacks, but without them being there to have their own flashbacks, anything we learn will be superficial at best.

I hated Niki and Paolo but it's the same thing with them. Two highly attractive characters directly linked to each other are gone. At least keep the one (although their episode is a classic)

I was a bit disappointed with the mid-season finale. If Ben wants the people on the boat stopped before they get to the Island and kill everybody.....and we now see that the Others can come and go from the Island when they please.......then why doesn't Ben just get...everyone...off...the island!?

Plus, I am very confused about the time difference of island vs. real world. It was made to appear that the islands time is slower than the real world, and that they have been gone longer than a few months. (The main characters <shit...what's her name again?> mother in the flash forward saying that she held on for four years because she couldn't believe her daughter was truly dead). But then Micheal's mother saying that he disappeared for two months and suddenly comes back after she heard he was dead. So, how much time has passed in the real world? Four years or a few months? Yes, the calender on the boat said 2004, but was it possibly an old calender, never replaced---and Syiad just assumed it was still 2004?

Not happy that Michael is back in. He annoys me to no end. His two lines of the show, repeated over and over.

"Walttttttttttt"

"He's my sonnnnnnnnnnn!!!!"
