^ I only read about it second-hand here on JUB. I think some of the participants are still around.

OK, New York has been suggested which means all other suggestions are null and void. When?

Between the drunk house and the Botanical Gardens? Nice.

I was thinking in the jub meet thread on the other side of the site about a couple of small(8-12 max) in the New York area which has never surprisingly had one, which frankfrank was enthusiastic about(one in late April, not coinciding with a larger proposed Chicago meet from kevbo) and one in mid September.

I met Sir ULOM last year one evening in York as I was travelling south. I was treated at an Italian restaurant, then we went a walk by the Minster, and then I was driven back to my lodgings by him.
Looking back on it I wasn't very good company, my personality and communication skills were lacking.

No, not true. I've met people from Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and London at JUB meets in the US. At one point Ravenstar (or was it Kester?) thought of coming to one of the meets, but it didn't happen. Nothing says, either, that only Americans can put meets together - nothing is stopping a meet from happening in South Africa, London, Montreal, Japan, etc.Well,i'm out as this is only for Americans.
The snow here in Colorado doesn't really bother me...usually bet a bit more than Denver where I'm at (don't care for driving in it, but other than that no big deal) Does look nice tooG-Lexington said:I simply tolerate the snow here in Denver. i sure as hell don't love it.

Agree there...you guys that need to take (and post) lots of pic's ! LOLJWaggy said:Whenever and wherever this happens, you boys need to take a lot of pictures. I want to see these guys having good, clean fun.
I would actually consider trying to get to a meet even in Australia.

How the hell do you figure? Toronto is like a 6 hour drive, the Dells are only 3...
I consider looseliam a friend...

Cold comfort, indeed.
I lived in the East Mountains all last year, up a terrible, steep, and crooked gravel driveway. Had to park at the bottom and walk up. BUT, I lived in Anchorage from 2006 to 2009, so these things don't scare me.
Love, love, LOVE Albuquerque, so you come see me sometime when you come visit your auntie. Always welcome. That's a Southern thang (our paraphrase of Martha Stewart.)
