I read somewhere where people in Portugal knew the victim was a predator of good looking youth. He actively sought out to groom young guys for sex, even if they identified as straight.

"Predator"???!!! I think that word is Straight speak for 'sexually active.' Did you also read somewhere about the homophobia that is typically ryfe throughout Portugal. Have you ever noticed that whenever the straight media write or speak about gay men, they almost always refer to the older man as the "predator?" Goodness me - please don't be so ready to accept everything you read as gospel. Sometimes the obvious is staring you right in the face - just open your eyes: Two adults take a trip to New York all the way from Portugal, check into a hotel, go out to a number of restaurants together, are seen by lots of people together... This doesn't sound like the MURDERED VICTIM was taking too much advantage of THE MURDERER, does it? You seem to be confused yourself!

The man was 20..therefore of legal age. Regardless of how one feels about a 60 man dating/hooking up whatever, the fact remains his killer was 20, LEGAL age.
