Republicans don't lie, they always misspeak or are taken out of context or didn't understand the question or they were joking and when you do hem them up, they still won't apologize. When you are old enough to know right from wrong, it's lying.
 
Well, let's make sure we remember this in 2012 if he is nominated for VP. We can continue to hit him up about his lies.

This is correct - UNLESS the issue of "anchor babies" arises. Madre and Padre Rubio may have emmigrated from Cuba (2.5 years before Castro) so that muchacho Marco would be an American citizen. ...just sayin'.

The WAPO story is much ado about nothing. They would like to distinguish between people who left Cuba prior to Castro coming to power and those who fled after. The fact is the Cuban-American community makes no differentiation. Both groups have lost their homeland to communism. Rubio got the dates wrong and stepped up to the plate and corrected himself.

The bigger story is the panic on the left caused by Hispanics and Blacks leaving the democratic plantation. If a republican picks Rubio as their VP, that will almost certainly put Florida out of the democrats reach. They have no choice but to engage in personal smears in an attempt to destroy him. It's only going to make the Cuban community in Florida support him more strongly.

My psychiatrist brother called Bobby Jindal'sHurricane Katrina lie "pure narcissism." Bobby, like Rubio, thinks so highly of himself and so lowly of others that he'd lie about something so easily verifiable. Jindal's story was shot down soon; Rubio's took a little longer.

Rubio's had a terrible week. He gave Britain and France the credit for Gaddafi's fall; forgetting that America did the heavy lifting the first month of the NATO Campaign. What kind of losers could support someone that doesn't give the American military credit? Oh, yeah... the damn, racist teabaggers.

If his parents told him the story of leaving Cuba, AND no one ever told him otherwise, Was he embellishing or lying?
If anyone lied it was his parents, Rubio is only guilty of believing the stories.
