Remember the days you could turn on BET without seeing asses shaking and hearing somebody brag about who they shot? Rap songs used to be about summertime and fine girl's in english class, now it's about selling drugs, fucking groupies and kicking them out when you're done. Anyhow, as embaressed as I am by modern black entertainment, there is a reason why many cultural aspects of black entertainment are often mimicked, reproduced, and down-right copied. We know how to put on a good show.
FIRST EPISODE:
Martin: The Ex-files. Martin and Gina are preparing for their wedding, and when Martin's exgirlfriend Tanya turns up on the guest list, a wager is made for who's more jealous of who's ex. Martin and Gina each invite an ex to dinner and proceed to act a damn fool trying to make each other envious. These clips represent the entire episode (if you have 20 free minutes). For whoever makes it to the end, did we forget Gina could be so damn boisterous and beligerent sometimes?
I've also included a THROWBACK hip-hop jam, I Wish. Always being the shortest guy in class, i was constantly wishing i was a taller baller.
comments, suggestions, etc.. are welcome
that's one of my favorite episodes!!! i still find myself singing "Tanya Nicooooooole...i love your mole"
i was watching a clip the other day from an episode i must've missed. a classic Pam and Sheneneh argumen where Pam accuses Sheneneh of being jealous of the ring on Gina's finger. Sheneneh responds by tellin Pam to check herself before she ends up with "a ring around yo' damn EYE!!"
i think my favorite episode might be the one where Gina had to work at "Sheneneh's Sho'Nuff Hair Salon"...the part with Myra and those damn feet was HILARIOUS!!!!
