Matthew, Mark, Luke or John?

Matthew was a tax collector before he was a disciple. He was also called Levi

Mark was with Jesus when Jesus was arrested. Mark got so mad that he grabbed a sword and cut off a cops ear. Jesus re attatched the ear. Meanwhile mark ran off naked when he dropped his sheet. He was going commando that night.

Luke was a doctor. he recorded a lot of the miracles of healing of Jesus

John was the brother of James the sons of Zebedee was the affectionate one that put his head on Christ chest at dinner. He was later arrested and sent to the island of Patmos where he had the vision of the book of Revelations which he recorded.

so then the two johns were the same....

you guys are really confusing me....

Never read anything remotely to do with the bible or it's "teachings" yet. I doubt I ever will either. So non of the above for me but then again I think I was born with the mark of the antichrist so it's no surprise.

There were at least three Johns.

John the Baptist.
John the "beloved" disciple.
John the author of Revelations.

It is believed that the John who wrote a gospel (and a couple epistles) was the "beloved" disciple, but that's still disputed. John the author most certainly was not the Baptist OR the Revelations author.

so theres three of them now?

alright well

i'm going to just give up on this endeavor and go back to just thinking about that they wrote and not WHO it was that wrote it

thanks, though, guys

Have you ever actually read the Bible, Muslim-boy? The OT (Hebrew scriptures) and NT (Greek, with a little bit of Aramaic, scriptures)?

I have a feeling that you'd find it all to be very entertaining ...to say the least. :D *

:goodevil:

*Also, astonishingly spiritually enlightening in places, laughably ridiculous in other parts, and an insult to the intellgience elsewhere.

here and there, but it really mostly says the same thing the Koran says, but not as directly..

I've always wondered what the sleeping arrangements were when Jesus and his disciples bedded down for the night.

I twink;) Judas knew, but, of course, there were no tabloid newspapers he could sell his story to. So we will never know.

But Jesus and John did seem to be a hot couple whenever a late, last supper was enjoyed at the local inn.
