Fox News exposing McCain's hypocrisy? Color me amazed. That truly is the mark of him being finished.

Like Obama promised he was going to take public campaign financing, got McCain to pledge to do the same and then when he discovered he could raise more cash than McCain decided to skip public campaign financing. Or the other 180s Obama has done.

Let me know when Obama supporters are as outraged at Obama's flip flops.
 
It's like McCain is saying that the robocalls were done to get back at Obama for not repudiating John Lewis' remarks. Not cool and immature for the MCain camp, I must admit. However, is there any truth to the claims made by the robocall? That's what he was driving at, and I honestly think that issue is more important.

I DO get annoyed when my candidate flip flops. I only wish the republicans would too when their's does. Instead the republicans continually find ways to justify how it's "different" when their candidate does it.

I like how Fox News gave McCain a chance to give his side of the story on the flip flopping. A luxury they did not afford John Kerry in 2004.

It may or may not have become more dirty... One fact though, is that we now have easier access to people who can spot and warn everybody about the dirt (or spread it, as some might :().

I think it's as dirty as it's always been. (Google "Ma, Ma, where's my Pa? Gone to the White House, ha ha ha!" if you don't believe me.) I think the main difference now is that:

1. Mud gets thrown faster.
2. Mud is cleaned up faster.
3. People lose interest a LOT faster.

Stories that would've warranted month-long discussions now are gone in three days.

Surely you know that "politicas makes strange bedfellows". McCain needed someone who could hammer this point home to as many people as quickly as possible. It so happened that that person was this guy. Some would call that "having no ethics". Others would call it "being willing to overlook a past grudge to work on a current one".
