Men Who Don t Want To Wear Speedo At The Pool

Speedos are huge in Brazil (actually they are tight and skimpy but you know what I mean). Everyone wears them and generally they look good, they are generally much slimmer than Americans and they are peacocks that love strutting their stuff on the beach for others, straight and gay, to check out. Rio is my fave city to visit.

I think it's an American cultural thing, partly weight, partly the same puritanical modesty that means you can't see nudity on network TV, partly America is not very fashion conscious compared to some other countries, and in general the American style is big and baggy.

Speedos are also more popular in Continental Western Europe and always have been though they are not actually in fashion there either, so not seen on young men so much now. European men are slimmer, wear less baggy clothes and the standard of fashion consiousness is higher. Culturally, they are more used to seeing or being seen naked or near-naked, and in most countries there are many nudist beaches for family use. I think Europeans react to the male thong in the way Americans do to the Speedo - that it is unflattering and usually comes in lime green worn by a middle aged medallion man with a paunch and a rug for a back and the rear part disappears into a big hairy crack - that is a no-no.

Just like Borat!:p

I never wore a Speedo when I was younger. I am and older dude now and wear different ones. I love them ,there super comfortable and I think showing most of your body is hot. I have a small cock and that's what prevented me when I was younger from wearing one. I don't have a perfect body or cock but I love the looks I get and comments about the Speedo,s I wear. Here is one that get people staring at my body and ass a lot. Love it ,,wear one and get them staring

Here is my hairy old ass . Look like the Wearwolf of London. Lol

Another one

I wear loose trunks at the beach, but speedos when swimming laps.
While a few guys wear loose trunks trunks for laps, the majority at my pool wear snug fitting suits. A few years ago it was overwhelmingly jammers, but now is trending more and more to speedos and square cuts.

Wore speedos for playing waterpolo in the 80's-90's. Over that red latex (?) over-briefs. I've worn longer trunks for decades, but even though I have what is popularly called a dad bod, I would not mind buying a speedo again, as I am done with the trunks (and associated prudery).

Now I look like the middle-aged man I am, and also I have barely any self-confidence.

I am, however, not ashamed of being naked in public (although out of politeness I keep that confined to naturism places).

There's no reason my next swimwear couldn't be a speedo.

Conservative fit swim briefs are readily available in Europe. I wear speedos with a 13 to 17 cm side. These look better on my dadbod than the skimpier suits. Most briefs sold in the USA are much shorter, and they rarely state the side measurement. ProswimUK is a good source. Plenty of 13-17 cm options.
