Harvey Evans ( Cincinnati , January 7, 1941 ) is an American actor and dancer , known primarily as a performer of musicals.

He made his debut in the teenage theater in 1956, with the US tour of the musical Damn Yankees , and the following year he made his Broadway debut with New Girl in Town with Thelma Ritter . [1] After starring on the Babes in Arms tour in Florida, in 1957 he returned to Broadway in the hit West Side Story , followed by Redhead with Gwen Verdon and Gypsy: A Musical Fable with Ethel Merman . After the flop Anyone Can Whistle with Angela Lansbury in 1965, Evans left New York and joined the second US tour of the musical Hello, Dolly! with the original star Carol Channing : after about two years on tour, Evans returned to Broadway in the permanent production of Dolly! on stage at the Shubert Theater. To Dolly! followed two other Broadway musicals, The Boy Friend (1970) and Follies (1971). [2]

After an absence of nearly ten years, he returned to Broadway in 1980 as a substitute for Jim Dale in the title role of the musical Barnum . In the following decade he played in three other productions by Follies , in San Jose (1987), Houston (1987) and Long Beach (1990), followed by three other productions in 1998 (San Jose), 2003 (Ann Arbor) and 2004 ( Irvine). After Barnum he played Broadway three more times, in Sunset Boulevard (1994), The Scarlet Pimpernel (1997) and Oklahoma! (2002). [3]

Nick Adams (actor, born 1983)

In 2005 Adams earned a BFA in musical theatre with a minor in dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music.[2] In New York, he joined the international tour of the musical Chicago, later joining the Broadway cast. He was also in the original Broadway cast of The Pirate Queen. In 2007 he co-starred with Mario Lopez as Larry in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line.[3] In June 2009 he was in the original cast of the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls.

In 2010, Adams played "Angelique" in the original Tony winning revival cast of La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre, starring Kelsey Grammer.[4]

Adams originated and starred as Adam/Felicia in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,[5] which opened at the Palace Theater on March 20, 2011[6][7] after a short run in Toronto at the Princess of Wales Theatre.[8]

In 2010, Adams, who is gay,[9] was a part of a PSA for the It Gets Better campaign with cast members from Priscilla Queen of the Desert.[10]

In 2011, Adams won two Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, for "Favorite Breakthrough Performance" and "Favorite Diva Performance" for his role in Priscilla Queen of the Desert.[11] Adams was also nominated for the 2011 Astaire Award for Best Dancer on Broadway and honored by the American Theatre Hall of Fame for his role in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.[12]

On February 4, 2014, Adams joined the first National Tour of Wicked and was the final actor to star in the role of Fiyero.[13]

In 2016, Adams appeared in season 2 of the sketch LGBT-themed comedy web series Go-Go Boy Interrupted.[14]

Other TV and Film credits include: Sex and the City 2, An Englishman in New York, "Smash," "As the World Turns," "Guiding Light," "Dancing with the Stars," "Rosie Live," "It Could Be Worse," "The Kennedy Center Honors," "Regis and Kelly," "Good Morning America," "The View," "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris," and multiple telecasts of "The Tony Awards." I hope the moderator sees this and does something about it. This is a sub-thread about bears and daddies. It's really not that difficult to understand what it means.
 
Administrator, please check out some of the latest posts and see that they are in no way what this thread is about. All of a sudden we are getting posts of younger, skinny guys that in no way fit the theme of "Daddies and Bears". I really enjoy this thread and I hope to see more pictures of the men that the followers and I love. Thanks
