No. They just couldn't prove that he did, as too many of the parents were paid off, especially the ones you never heard about.

Ok now with all that evidence...and proof...that proves he is innocent...now you still want to show out? heres the 2nd case.

GAVIN ARVISO VS MJ:

1. The family were PROVEN liars in court..

2. The family tried to extort money from previous celebs, successfully and unsuccessfully.

3. The starts WENT TO COURT and TESTIFIED AGAINST the family

4. The mother claims MJ held the family hostage....and planned to take them away in an air balloon....really?:badgrin:

5. The prosecution called these "mysterious boys who were paid off" to come and testify..NOT 1 showed up...and MANY Confessed they lied....

6. The mother goes by the name.....JANET.....JANET JACKSON to be precise....really?


Also in ANY child molestation case there is ALWAYS evidence...I know...i had a family member who was accused of almost the same crime...went to trial and everything....NO EVIDENCE = it didn't happen...evidence cannot be erased....

Oh and I just found this out...Evan Chandler the father of jordan...tried to sue MJ 3 years later after MJ gave him 22 milli...for 60 milli for a breach in contract....hahaha yea reallY...so dude wanted money...case closed....obviously he didn't get the 60.

Right. Because once MJ paid out enough money they wouldn't change their testimony in his favor. The whole point of paying them off is to pay them off. #-o:rolleyes:

Precisely. How do these members calling MJ names know any of this? Were they there? Of course they were not. They're just basing their opinions upon what they've heard from the Great Talking Heads of television and radio . . .

Wait until the day comes that they are accused of something - anything. Then, I'm sure that we would all be reminded that a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, not the court of public opinion.

Back to the topic . . .

IMHO, Michael Jackson was one of the greatest entertainers/singers/songwriters of all time. The man definitely had talents - I'm happy that he shared them with the rest of us.

I fall somewhere in between the two extremes.

Were the relationships that Michael Jackson had with children inappropriate? I think that they were. Were those relationships, at any point, of a sexual nature? I'm not so sure that was the case. I think he was a deeply troubled man.

At the same time, I think "Thriller" is a brilliant record. I recently added it to my iTunes Library when I found a used copy at work and realized it had all of my favorite Michael Jackson songs on it.

I will play "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" for him today. ^_^

Eh, speculation. I'm not sure you're any more qualified to comment on Michael Jackson's intentions than are members who would call him a rampant child molester. How do YOU know he didn't molest children? Because Michael Jackson chose to settle out of court, it left so much of the investigation sealed and therefore ripe for speculation.

Because the better part about this chapter of Michael Jackson's life is--officially--unsaid because of legalities, I think it makes him all the more intriguing in the grand scheme of popular culture. No one knows either way, so he's a great figure to discuss--there is no right or wrong, really.

P.S. Why begin a topic when, clearly, the only opinion you're interested in is your own?--Blog from now on, darling.

lol - so this is JUB's 'Michael Jackson Is Dead' thread. I just read pretty much all of the posts. Interesting.

As with everyone else, I watched it all unfold on the news (at least initially) on that evening U.K. time.

It's wierd to read all the responses and reactions from JUBbers I now know so well.

It all happened three months before I knew all of you, or anything about this site.

As for MJ, I was mostly ambivalent and neutral about him.

Gone, but not forgotten. His music lives on.
