Re: Michael Jackson Was a Shape Shifter?

Are we talking the shape-shifting, inter-dimensional lizard people that David Icke (see under 'loony') thinks rule the world? Probably not, as he was so high profile, and was obviously mentally deranged, needing to change his appearance so horifically so much. RIP you sad lunatic; what a wasted life.

Wasted life? Are you serious? MJ lived his life to the fullest and I believe he fufilled his God given purpose on this earth. He will be remembered in death far longer than most of us will be. everyone takes shots at him but he set world records for philanthropy, he affected so many ppl positively its crazy.

Love you MJ! no strings attached.(*8*)

If his God-Given purpose on earth was to show the world how an abusive father can destroy his child, he certainly paid the price. :(

What about all the children he affected negatively? Or was it ok because he paid their parents hush money?

Re: Michael Jackson Was a Shape Shifter?

Allegedly ruined their lives. Ask yourself, what if he "was" innocent? Why are we so quick to believe the negative before the positive. Irregardless of how much you hear about the Jackson family in the news, all you hear is tabloid nonsense. Very rarely do you get a true glimpse of their real lives, they are a very secretive family (ie Janet's secret marriage and child). Damn is everything ppl say about "you" really true? and if every negative thing said about you was taken by everyone to be true then what?

And I really don't think MJ's childhood was 100% to blame for his eccentricities. Most of it had to do with early wealth and fame in Hollywood. There are tons of children abused by their parents and "We" don't all become Michael Jacksons.

You got a tanking economy with the politicians who would ruin the country in order to get your encumbent president to be a one termer, and this...

All the media can do now will focus on this lame useless sideshow. Well done America!

Because the economy is tanking and there are people out of work the press can't talk about anything but the economy tanking and people being out of work? this is a legit news story, should the press just ignore it?

My bet is that more people are interested in this story than the economy. People need a diversion from the constant news about the shitty economy and the shitty politics going on in the US of A.

"Another op'nin', another show. ..."
(Cole Porter)

Doesn't the media have more newsworthy things to do? Thank heavens we have the facility to go to different media and not be in thrall to this false drama. It's supposed to be a trial, not a made-for-TV soap opera.

Re: = = = The Michael Jackson Trial = = =

It'll make an incredible statement about our justice system when his killer is brought to justice, even though none of his victims got justice.

I hope you're being facetious! If our justice system worked, Michael Jackson would be alive today, rotting in solitary confinement! But no, he was found not guilty.

And OJ? He's a thread unto itself.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson songs

"Human Nature". Such a beautiful song.

A template for new jack swing and hip-hop soul ballads, "Human Nature" is comparatively slower and more intimate than "Thriller's" other songs. "If this town is just an apple, let me take a bite," quivers Jackson's voice over a cascading synthesizer and percolating bass line. Though written by John Bettis and Steve Porcaro of Toto, the lyrics resonate with Jackson's yearning to break free from his tower of celebrity and mingle with young people in a "city that winks its sleepless eye."
