Even my homophobic grandma (who I mentionned in another thread confuses the word homosexual with pedophile) feels sorry for him...lol.
I have the same sorts of feelings about MJ as Sp00n51. I'm a big fan of his music, and I think he is a good person (aside from the pedophilic side). I don't have the negative feelings when listening to his music though...some of it is so positive it's impossible to have anything negative inside of you when listening to it.

A child molester is a child molester. One of the few mental illnesses that apparently cannot be cured. There can be no sympathy for this type of man. The sympathy should be for the child subjected to this perversion. The mothers who went along with his seductions should also be punished.

That's precisely why there SHOULD be sympathy for him as well...
Maybe I'm just too sympathetic for people who have mental illnesses. Sure it's angering and not right, but it's still sad that the human being (yes, human being) has been afflicted with some illness/demon to do whatever they have done. Especially sad for someone else when they've been a victim of this person too.

Michael appears to be a very troubled person.
Apparently he had a terrible childhood which undoubtedly could have caused his psychological problems today.
His transformation from a cute talented brown boy to a pale unisex recluse was disheartening to observe.
If the child molestation allegations are true, he deserves to be punished accordingly. Most of us weren't raised under idyllic cirsumstances and still don't target children.
But as room5 stated, the parents of the abused children should be punished also. I'm not a parent but if I were I would never permit my childs going to sleepovers with a 40+ year old man always making the headlines for his freaky behavior. I beleive the parents prostituted their children for their own selfish, economic advantage. The most perverse pimps imagineable.

You should read the law and trust your justice, MJ's trial is over and he's been declared not guilty!!!!!!!!!!! Wake up!! they heard psychological experts, DNA experts, computer analysers......etc etc etc etc!!!!!! the trial lasted more than 6 months, but they haven't found one single evidence!!!! So leave him alone, he's been cleared about the charges, now move on to something else

I think it's one of the truly saddest of things. To think how a man who was once known for cutting edge music videos, and being a great singer and dancer has become what he has. I do think he's seriously mentally unwell, and his mental illness has been allowed to become out of control. I mean, no matter what you believe about the child abuse stuff, you just need to look at his own kids to see that abuse is going on. Not sexual, but abuse none the less. Personally, I don't think he molested boys, but do believe he's odd enough to just want to hang out with kids. Maybe I'm a little naive, but i think it's more likely that money grabbing parents saw an easy way to get some cash out of a very unwell man.
