Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

"MJ was cleared and it was never proven."
True, but some of the jurors later said they believed he had molested some boys, based on all the evidence, just couldn't convict him of molesting that particular victim because the DA didn't do a good enough job proving it beyond a reasonable doubt. I've read the interview between Jordy Chandler (the first victim) and his psychiatrist. Very damning. It's no wonder Jackson settled for over $20. That's not something an innocent guy would do. Just want to keep things in perspective.

Yes, God forbid we lose perspective. Thank you, on behalf of the perspectiveless, thank God for you. The Wind Beneath Our Wings.

Re: RIP michael jackson!

He will forever be remembered as the King of Pop and the GREATEST entertainer that ever lived.

Re: RIP michael jackson!

I just broke down after hearing Janet's statement...may he rest in peace and may his music live forever

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

Yeah, let's all pity the pedo just cause he's famous.

i always respect other people's opinions, but only when they're valid.

do you have any proof he did anything? was he ever convicted for any of the charges? did you read up on any of the stories for and against him in these cases? no, so therefore you shouldn't be allowed to have an opinion. read up before you say crap like that.

the jurors based their opinions off of witness testimonies, no actual hard evidence that was substantial enough to prove is guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. therefore, their opinions of the case didn't matter, hence why he was found innocent.

Re: RIP michael jackson!

The world judged him too harshly for being different, but no one could deny his unique talent.

There will never be another like you, Michael.

Re: Red necks comments on Jackson death vs. JUB

I'm figuring that MJ's best days were already behind him.

Checking out at that age of 50, I'm pretty sure that he will be remembered for the artist that he was, and the contributions that he made, and how he'll be remembered by a Generation for the entertainment that he brought us.

In no time we'll forget the jokes:

Q: What did the Woman say to Michael Jackson at the beach?

A: Please get out of my Son.

Q: What does Michael Jackson and K-Mart have in common?

A: They both have little boys pants half off.

So I'm figuring that the upside is, his "eccentricities" will be over shadowed by his talents, accomplishments as an artist, and the joys that we shared at the height of his fame. ..|

^On the day of his death, is it necessary to go there? Geesh.

Re: RIP michael jackson!

For some reason i can't believe it.
It's gonna be like elvis all over again.
The people are gonna see him everywhere, he isn't dead.. and all that other crap.
Remember the look-a-likes?
and all other things? See why I cannot believe it.

How about this one... why does Mike like Twenty-Eight Year Olds?

Because there's 20 of them!

"Get it... 28... twenty eight..."

But honestly I think he's innocent and never did those things. I have my reasons.

Like you, the more time passes, the more I believe Michael is innocent of those things.

Because he was so damaged by his upbringing, and abused, he was definitely "different".

And the world is rarely ready for "different".

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

I cried on the way home in disbelief.

I'll miss your music and the impact it had on so many lives.

exactly! I had fun having sleep overs as a kid.. and if I slept in the bed with another kid while sharing scary stories or trading pokemon cards, I didn't think anything sexual of it. When he slept in the bed with a minor, I think he had the same mentality as a child. Parents came forth and just wanted money.. and since so many were coming forth, they took advantage of the situation.

Weither he did something to those kids or not...no one knows nor will ever know with 100% certainty.
And many people should definately read a bit more about pedophilia...most pedophiles were also victims in the past. Should we let them get away with it? Off course not but just be a little more educated when you're gonna talk about it.

Regardless of what he did or did not in his personal life, his amazing impact in music is undeniable and his legacy will live on forever.

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

I was so sad to hear when MJ died today. I went to my record player, pulled out my old "Thriller" album and played some of MJ's songs in remembrance of him. Granted...he may have been a very eccentric and weird person to most...which I attribute to his really messed up childhood...but he was a hell of a singer!

This has not been a good week for me...

I also lost one of my best friends on Sunday due to a torn aortic valve and then he suffered a heart attack. He was 24 years old and left behind 2 little girls and his fiancee.
