If he has the ability, he'll be drafted.......that's it.
But there will be alot of speculation either way. If he's drafted anti-gay people will say "It's all about the gay agenda". If he's not drafted many gays will blame it on homophobia.

A lot of teams have strict coach based policies on not becoming the talking point of the team. It would be odd for the SEC defensive player of the year to not get drafted. However that spotlight being dragged around behind the player is distracting for the entire team. Distractions equal losing seasons. Think of some of the high profile receivers in the last decade, many of which were dropped by teams or not even considered by teams needing a receiver because of their antics. Unfortunately Sams brings a circus with him.
All of that aside i would love to see the AFC North pick him up. I would truly love it if my Cincinnati Bengals grabbed him up. But I doubt it, after Ocho Cinco was such a pain in the ass, Marv Lewis isnt having any of that circus shit.

Now that Johnny Football has been drafted — some team finally did select him, right? Manziel’s not still chugging water at that table? — all eyes turn toward Michael Sam. Usually, the second through seventh rounds of the NFL draft, which ESPN and the NFL network will broadcast tonight and Saturday, are only of interest to die-heard fans. (And plenty of them will stay inside on a lovely spring Saturday, to see whom their favorite team snares in the fifth round. Drama!)
