Young girls seem to turn on anyone who is doing better than them. Im not a fan but I cant fault her. If it was any one of us, we would do the same as her for the ammount of money she gets. Kids are bitchy and jealous, they all want to be her.

I am willing to admit that Taylor Swift grew on me. Of course her song "Lovestory" has the wrong ending. We all know what really happens at the end of that play.

Disney has a way of shoving things down your throat and make you think they are popular......just because they want to make sure they make money off of it. They did the same thing with Raven Simone ( I did like her) but when thats so Raven came on it was on like 15 times a day, plus raven was doing voices for Kim Possible, and Tinkerbell and did the Cheetah girls. Then Miley came along and now its all about her.....Next will Be Selena Gomez.
Also look at the freaking Jonas brothers......its not like they were and overnight success....but once the disney machine got a hold of them they were forced upon the world

Well first of all Congrats Britney...you deerve all this late career success.


Its weird how she is getting all these number 1s later in her career but when she had all those hot bubble gum songs she couldnt even crack top 20 or 50....



3 is a really hot song even though its very slack.


It sucks for Miley though. I am nowhere near a fan of hers but i love Party In The USA.

You know what the funny thing is with Miley? In Party In The USA she sings, "And a Britney song comes on" lol so its kinda weird how a Britney song is keeping her from the number 1 spot.


Its similar to a few weeks ago when Run This Town was 3 and PITU was 2 because Miley also says" And a Jay Z song comes on" lol

Miley Cyrus admits that she has never heard a Jay Z song in her life.

The interview with Cyrus took place last week prior to her Halloween concert in Louisville and was later posted on MileyWorld.com. When she was asked by the interviewer what specific Jay-Z song inspired the line in "Party In The USA" in which a Jay-Z song plays on the radio she responded quite frankly stating: "I don't know, I didn't write the song, so I have no idea. Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn't write it [and] I didn't expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best."

I heard that. It doesn't bother me because I realize singers don't usually write their own songs, and I don't take everything they sing as reflecting their own thoughts and feelings.

I find it odd that she has never heard a Jay-Z song though. How do you listen to the radio and never hear one of his songs? I don't know if I believe that.

Well obviously not every artist writes all their songs but this was a personal song which makes her a fraud.

How hard would it have been to change Jay Z and Britney to people she actually listens to???
