I felt sorry for her when all of this blew up. She was side-swipped by Perez Hilton with a question that was a lose/lose for her either way. Either she spoke from her heart about her beliefs or she lied to make the fags happy, because as the vitriol that's been spewed in her direction lately has shown, you're welcome to your own opinion so long as it supports gay marriage otherwise keep it to yourself.

But I'm not feeling anything but revenge in this latest move for publicity. And if she feels the "gays got her" with Perez's question, we've now got another idiotic mouth-piece with a media presence to bad mouth equal rights to marriage.

Despite the fact I'm probably going to get lynched in this response I do feel sorry for the woman. She's not gay, she's a christian, brought up with certain thoughts and expectations. And because she answered the question in the way she felt it to be right she's being lampooned and made fun of and called all sorts of horrible names.

I keep forgetting the ability to have your own opinion and express it freely in the US - freedom of speech it's called isn't it - only means she's free to speak tell her belief's if it's PC enough not to offend anyone.

You want to attack someone go after that Fred Phelps idiot. She's nothing but a model/beauty pagent contestant who would have faded into oblivion by now if Perez hadn't held her up as the poster child for anti-gay marriage ignorance.

Actually, Darlin', she does have free speech, just as those who don't care for the view she's expressing also have that right. Truly being PC would be giving her a pass because she's just a Christian expressing her views. She's not being PC by expressing her bigotry, and in honor of free speech, I'm not being PC by saying I'm glad the bitch didn't win.
