"Modern Talking" how come this group is not popular or well known?

To be honest, I don't think that product quality necessarily correlates to amount of success. We've had processed/cheesy/Eurotrash groups (think Spice Girls) before that fared quite well.

Sometimes one just doesn't have "it", by luck, lack of funding/promotion, or otherwise.

I've heard of the Spice Girls, didn't like their music either. Until this thread, I'd never heard of Modern Talking.

Therefore their songs are quite good, they just didn't promote them properly around the world.
