On-Topic Mondays Final Debate

Why do we go through these motions Obama was gonna win even if he lost all 3 debates. The media just pumps this up for their own profit. So jaded :) vote already and get it over

I dunno Angolazee... apathy will get ya ... this is still an election about turnout.... if people who say they have Obama's back don't vote then we are sunk because the racism and hate driving the other side will pull them out to the polls.... not overwhelming love and desire for Romney... hell this is the first race in the last 25 years I can recall conservatives raking their chosen one over the coals.... it has happened over and over again but they will still vote against Obama.

Romney had his share of zingers, like Putin will not get more flexability after the election, he will get more backbone. ---(What is Obam's secret agenda.

Obama hasn't won yet.

Lets be realistic. There are too few undecideds out there to matter to such a great extent.

He won the debate. What effect it has on the election remains to be seen. Romney needed a big win tonight to take Ohio away from Obama. That did not happen.

But the south will still swing plus 22 Romney no matter what, and that is baked in now.

The rest depends on how well each side motivates its voters to get out and vote.

You know when republicans think they've lost. They start talking about secret info that only they have on vast conspiracies.

Honestly, if anyone is still undecided now, they'll not going to make a choice until the last minute...probably involving a coin toss no less.

I'm still gobsmacked how people can be undecided about the president. My guess is that these are the asshats that vote once for each person on American Idol so they don't feel bad about the loser. You only get one vote for President.

Florida, Ohio and Virginia are must-wins for Romney. He loses any of those and he's done. At this point, I don't see him sweeping those three states.

and you're really into that "gay and republican" thing aren't u

Shouldnt you be as well, I would think that would be the most pertinent issue for you since its quite obvious Romney has no ground breaking specifics on economic, education, environmental policy to justify your support

you throw it out there as a stone

it sucks

it doesn't foster anything good

and u don't know what motivates people other than yourself clearly

so find another way

cnn polling in

48 obama
40 romney

follow up question:

will it change your vote?

24 obama
25 romney
50 neither

of course

none of the other republican candidates was remotely acceptable

i'm a registered democrat

Yea I wonder how many right wingers messed up that poll... online polling is inaccurate.

At least the one I provided had an actual sample.

All the other polls say Obama won by a huge margin... just check the others people have posted.

That wasn't an online poll. CNN said it was a scientific poll meaning it was a phone poll of a random sample.

I didn't get to watch the last debate, except for the last 20minutes. I think Obamas closing speech was great. Obama has a way of speaking that is to the point, and heartfelt. I hear honesty in is voice. Romney however, seemed to be 'all talk and no expression', saying what people want to hear as if reading from a script.

Romney was in shock from the stomping that Obama gave him... let me find you a link to the debate...

You are all missing the forest for the trees. This election will not turn on Obama's smartelecky quips. Romney looked Presidential and not the war monger the Dems have tried to make him out to be. No big difference between the two on foreign policy, so we can put it aside and get down to the serious economic differences that people are worried about. Romney's movement upward will continue.

Doesn't cut it for me. Other polls show Obama with a clear win in this one. CNN has had a recent history of poor polling. Piss poor.

CNN stated that their sample was republican heavy, so if its adjusted a few points for that, it is within the same range of victory for the president.

Put this into perspective... Mitt won the first debate by a smaller percentage.

Romney is callus and heartless like a lot of his electorate.
