Age of consent aside, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old could easily be seen as 'mutual experimentation'. A 14-year-old and a guy in his 30s seems more like 'exploitation' to me.
 
I don't care what the age of consent is, that is just wrong. Why not tell us your take on it?
 
How did you meet this guy? At his kid's soccer game? Cruising the bus ramp? What 30-year-old pursues someone in middle school or their first year of high school?

At that age, many boys are still going through puberty. Some haven't even hit it yet. I hit my peak at 16. I would think someone at that age would want a guy whose voice doesn't crack or texts you about their upper lip hair coming in.

I shouldn't judge people but blowing a middle schooler or high schooler after you pick him up from detention is borderline pedophilia to me.

Do I think there exist 14-year-olds who understand what they're getting themselves into, the potential hazards, all of that? Yes. Do I think most do? No. Maybe the guy who gave you oral sex was really good about explaining what was going on, and made sure you felt good about the act beore, during, and after. Or maybe he just yanked your pants down and went to town. (It's surprising to me how many people consider the "don't talk just act" move to be infinitely hotter.) if you considered what happened to be a negative experience, I'm assuming you'd either be reluctant to discuss it, or else frame your post to say you were happy about the change in the law. The fact that you didn't seems to suggest otherwise - that you found it a positive experience. In which case, good. :)

Legalities aside, I think at 14 you are still trying to rationalize whats going on with your sexuality. For that matter, some 35 year olds are still trying to rationalize their sexuality. In the US, some states have the legal consent of 16 and some 18. Your question asked specifically about morality and I think this.......... If you are taking unfair advantage of anyone regardless of their age, that's morally wrong. Lets say a 17 year old was begging me for a blow job. The age of consent in my state is 18. Legally wrong.......yes. Morally wrong........not if he really wants it. Is it morally wrong if I get him drunk and take unfair advantage.........absolutely. To answer the question specifically about a 14 year old, I have to think back about myself at 14 and would say that I was not ready for that.

For those that posted the "wanna vomit" comments, everyone might as well get used to the fact that some older men and women are physically attracted to young people and some of them are below 18. It's a fact of being human. It's those folks that can't control themselves and keep their hands off kids or anyone else who has no line of defense against unwanted advances.......those folks are a menace to society. I've encountered tons of guys that obviously found teenage girls attractive. Some of those guys were in their 70's. To be attracted is human. To be out of control is not.

Not that it really affects/matters to anyone here, but 16 is the age of consent for vaginal sex too. The only exception really is anal, which is 18.

That being said, it really depends on how you felt about it. Like someone said, some 14yo are mature enough to understand, and some are not, so it depends on the situation and the individual imo. The 30yo may be a predator, he may not. Granted its still a little gross/creepy, because he was blowing someone half his age.

I personally had my first gay sex experiences shortly before this law was changed. I was 18, and he was 14, (might have been 15 already... his birthday was somewhere around the same time, but I can't remember) but he was a lot more aware/confident/sure of himself and his sexuality than I was, and knew exactly what he wanted. Lets look on the bright side for once, shall we? Mr first person who posted and didnt come back never said a thing about if the 30-year-old was a stranger or someone he knew well. If he is a stranger, who knows. But it could have been a neighbor, a family friend, etc. I'm sure no one here had a crush on his teacher at some point.

Yours was a 6-year difference, and you approached him. We don't know how the OP ended up getting the blowjob, but there was anywhere from a 16 to a 25 year age difference. That's significant.

We don't know the details. He might never tell us how it came about. All I can do is to assume that the older guy did the seducing.
