Mormons Mobilize to Deprive Gays of More Rights


An e-mail sent to LDS followers calls on them to block civil unions legislation in Illinois.
Apparently not satisfied with merely screwing over gays and lesbians in California, the Mormon Church is currently mobilizing its extremely productive, teetotaling followers to block civil unions for same-sex couples in Illinois.

It's time the tax-exempt status is removed from their homophobic organization. I remember signing petitions over prop 8 to the IRS. Apparently it didn't do any good. Something needs to be done!

I'd say it's time to remove tax-exemption from all religion. They're not charities, they're fucking a buisness and in the case of these vile, mysganistic, homophobic, racist wankers, a buisness with an extremely insidious aim.

Yeah, we would. The twisted irony is that Salt Lake City is one of more gay-friendly cities in the country. They are home to some very large gay-oriented cultural festivals.

Funny how so many morons, err Mormons were previously saying that they weren't against civil unions, merely marriage. Now this. More disgusting hypocrisy from that "church".
