Mozilla CEO doesn't support gay marriage

The man has a right to his own views -- just as you do.

He does, but he used his views and money to fund something anti-gay. Having views and pushing views on other people based on your own moral standards are two different things.

Nothing you say in this post makes any sense, not that it has to coming from a shill for Focus on the Family. JUB really was nice while you were gone.

You are assuming he is gay...

I have always assumed something quite different.

The Mozilla Firefox browser for me has some fucking Sweetpacks search embedded in it that always has some trashy pop up horrible thing Ellen DeGeneres supposedly did..that is all that pops up everytime I open Mozilla...been that way for months now. They change the lie about Ellen though...I have noticed that much.

I have to "x" out Sweetpacks everytime but only after I get the trashy bullshit about Ellen....

I hate Mozilla.

Amazing how much zealot gays are like evangelical Christians. Both hate so much. Uncompromising.

I feel sorry for people who want to live in a world where everything is to their liking.

The more you post, the greener you look...and that's my territory, chum.

I hold no hatred in my heart for Christians. Or for those who don't believe that homosexuality is "normal". But these things only go in one direction. I am not attempting to make Christianity illegal. I'm not interested in getting Christians fired from public schools. And I have never donated money to a group to keep Christians from enjoying the same basic rights that I enjoy. Once I do, your barbs will begin to stick. Until then, they can remain filed under S for Self-Loathing.

Both extreme groups use the same tactics ... boycott and hatred.

You can't live in a world that behaves the way you want it to.

You got your way .. he resigned.

It is a part of the human condition to want to live in a world where everything is to our liking. That is not possible and it is not the point. It is how we accept and try to understand those that have different outlooks on what constitutes living a good life that is different than ours. Letting other people live their life and love who they love without interference from the outside. Evangelical Christians don't harbor this belief and fight to the death that everyone live their life according to the bible and their views.

We are not the ones out to cut our fellow men out of the Constitution.

Our world will be fair and equal whether you or anyone like it or not.

That's what I mean 'our world'. You're looking for a gay utopia -- it doesn't exist.

Classic from a guy who has the views he does when it comes to abortion. So I'll double down with MoufOfKhaos when it comes to the irony thing. :)

The two aren't synonymous, despite your protestations to the contrary.

You can't live in a world that behaves the way you want it to.

That's just it - you can. Or you can at least push in that direction.

The rights gained by all non-royalty (and non-clergy) over the past several centuries weren't achieved via benevolent despots. It wasn't those in charge systematically giving up more and more of their power, in a display of gentle hearts, as the years passed. It was - if I can use your terminology - "haters". "Boycotters" refusing to accept the status quo, who refused to "live in a world that behaves the way they wanted it to."

Perhaps you pine for the days of serfdom and a stranglehold clergy. Me, I'm kind of pleased with the generic progress of mankind over the past millennium or so.

I'm sorry you find the theory that all men are created equal to be utopia. Don't feel so bad Jack, the American Experiment isn't for everyone. I hear Russia shares your belief that its such a silly notion. Perhaps you should consider moving.

Like I said. You are free to live in the closet and live the miserable closeted life your conservative masters command you to. I however am not a slave.

Good. Glad he "stepped down".

Pretty soon people will understand that co-signing any form of discrimination is probably not a good idea. :)

Beliefs are ONE thing, but when you're actively supporting causes that keep minorities from enjoying certain privileges...that's bullshit, and you deserve any misery that comes your way.

:gogirl:

buh-bye!

I hold no hatred in my heart for Christians. Or for those who don't believe that homosexuality is "normal".

It's not normal.

It's natural, sure. But not normal. If homosexuality was normal, there'd be significantly fewer than 7 billion people on the planet.

Prop 8 was one of the few times in history a right given to a group was taken away by popular vote.
That is why the wounds from Prop 8 still sting.
And I'm sorry, my respect for someone's viewpoints on opposing gay marriage end when they put their beliefs into law, which is why Prop 8 and all these other bans are.

Amazing how much zealot gays are like evangelical Christians. Both hate so much. Uncompromising.

You honestly can't see any difference between, for example, people that were actively trying to take our rights away via Prop 8 and the people opposed to that?

It's not hate to want the same rights as everyone else and to fight to defend those rights. It is hate when you actively work to take away rights from a specific group of people.
