Silentalk, the thing to remember is this: The possible outcome ranges from complete acceptance (best case scenario) to he's freaked out enough to call security and try to get a restraining order (worst case scenario). If you can live with the worst case scenario, if it happens, then go for it. More than likely his response will be somewhere in between. He may decide he wants to get to know you and see where that leads, he may not.

Only you can really tell if you would be capable of handling total rejection, so only you can say if the risk is worth the attempt. If you know you will not be able to handle the rejection should that be his reaction, and it very well could be, then maybe its best to leave it as a fantasy and search for someone closer to home. If rejection wont be the end of your world (or even a major earthquake in it) then give it a go. Just please take the time to consider, and be honest with yourself about, the potential harm of the outcome.

Oh I'm not saying don't go for it......while someone is pursuing some guy only because he's famous....it allows them to reside in a wonderful fantasy world free of making real connections with real guys who are probably as talented and good looking and deserving as the guy on the poster covered in the kisses of his biggest fan. The best part about the Zayns is that they are such pure media product, it allows every stan to colour in whatever they want to on the Tiger Beat personality diagram that the boyband ex machina dictates. Real potential boyfriends are just not that perfect. They come with personalities.

I still don't see a difference. In both cases, you're attempting a connection with limited information. Yeah, the OP doesn't know anything about OD that the publicists don't want him to know (except his orientation, I guess) but that's true of the guy behind the sub counter, too. But that's why I asked "Is this a fanboy wanting to know so he can draw hearts in his notebook, or are you going to make a move?" He says he's got an in, which I don't doubt - they're not as hard to come by as all that. And he didn't ask for assurances that he'd be successful at it - just that he had a shot. And of course the answer is yes, he has a shot. Are his odds good? Hard to say. I don't know the OP from Adam, and I couldn't tell you what kind of guys this Zayn fellow goes for. (For all I know, he's looking for a hairy roundish smart-assy gargoyle. In which case, he's SOL on this front.) But at least he'll find out one way or another. And either he'll end up with him (and presumably delete his JUB account, as we'll be hounding him for details then), or he'll get turned down, and he can put it all aside and chase after someone else.

Nice analysis. I can reassure you by saying that the type of rejection that would destroy me, I've been through that already. I'm not immune to disappointment or maybe severe disappointment either. But I think I can safely say that, if all fails, I won't need more than a few days to recover at most. Of course that won't be the case if he opened up, started to like me and got somewhat attached to me, time passed by and then he dumped me. Let's just see what happens.

As a matter of fact..... I may or may not have set plans in motion for my partner and I to capture his heart. We'll see what happens. But yes, he is a genuine (and genuinely nice) person. That's part of what interests my partner about him. Two sensitive souls, the could easily become friends. We'll see what happens from there. If Niall doesn't shy away from kinky 3way sexploits things could work out well. The down side is I don't see Niall giving up 1D to become plaything for a couple of "freaks". He enjoys singing with his mates and going on tour. He wouldn't be around much. My partner says that could work, it would make the times Niall is around so much more special. We'll see what comes (so punny! ) of it.

You are definitely NOT even half as psycho-obsessed as Bieberites. I'm talking about the hardcore "beliebers" who, if you so much as mention anything but the best about Bieber they go into a major conniption fit and risk a brain aneurism with their screaming and lust to rip your innards out.
