there's a lovely place in Barcelona near belamo.

Lofts are cool, and high ceiling a dream for many people. You have to wonder how much work goes into sealing them up, keeping the vermin out, etc.

I applaud the salvaging of the derelict buildings though. It's a shame they seem to be part of gentrification and driving out working class folks. That said, in the districts where they usually are, there were no houses anyway.

You (and I, in turn) should have written Standard rather than Texaco. With an Art History degree you are likely to be familiar with the Ed Ruscha screenprint:

You're right of course. However, a quick Google search produced a number of results that give Burleigh as an alternate spelling. In any case, not one of my favorite houses, although Stamford is one of my favorite towns.
