I just want new construction; maybe have a cleaning crew and painters run through there, Space for a dryer, A dishwasher, my own bathroom, and Central Air!

I'd like an old Mediterranean country house

Why did they decorate it like a Romanian bordello though?

Went there at night with an Italian and an Algerian friend we were shone into our eyes by a guard. We decided to come back later. Maybe.

Lofts are cool, and high ceiling a dream for many people. You have to wonder how much work goes into sealing them up, keeping the vermin out, etc.

I applaud the salvaging of the derelict buildings though. It's a shame they seem to be part of gentrification and driving out working class folks. That said, in the districts where they usually are, there were no houses anyway.

That's not Tudor style. Nothing like. This on the other hand ...

"Tudor" in the States = red brick and half-timbering. I'm not aware of Burleigh having inspired any American houses, Blois on the other hand...
