Good work!
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........are you still hanging in there?
I hope this continues to work for you, Sultan. Seriously. Every day I am more pleased with myself for quitting than the last. You will never regret quitting. You might have brief moments of temptation along the way but you'll never regret it. You'll only regret it if you go back to smoking.
After quitting cold turkey, I found second-hand smoke to be a real turnoff. Drinking coffee, especially after a meal, gave me the hardest time.Well it's been three days now and I haven't had one. I got over the three day hump and the cravings haven't been that bad yet but I haven't been around cigarettes for those days. I wonder how bad the cravings will get when I'm around people who smoke.
YAY Sultan! You made it through week THREE!
Now that you've made it THIS far don't be a dumbass and get some stooopid idea you can have JUST ONE.......
I know exactly how you're feeling right now......pretty damn proud of yourself.......as you should!.......

I had a few drinks too and had a cigarette with them.![]()
Keep up the good work and keep us updated even if you fuck up........well.......ESPECIALLY if you fuck up.........![]()
Who raised this thread from the grave?
Um... after a year or so of not smoking I ended up having one every now and then when I was at a bar and then it slowly became a regular habit to the point where I was smoking over a half pack a day. That went on for about five months and then I switched to electronic cigarettes that use vapor instead of smoke and I'm happy with that.
Nicotine alone is still bad for you but not nearly as bad as regular cigarettes so I'm pretty content with that and don't really have plans to quit using them.
