Hoping that all will be well with your son,and that there will be light at the end of the tunnel in this mess.It is a family's nightmare, especially with the increase in attacks on American troops, and my thoughts are with your family and all those who serve and their families .

were all here when you need to talk,
(*8*)

I was raised in the military, I'm glad I'm not in it now. Happy New year Jack. I hope you get to see your son soon.(*8*)

I'm sorry to here this, Jack. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son and his family. We're all here for you whenever you need us and I hope this 'Jub' family eases your fears.

JFT - Sorry to hear about your son. Hopefully 2007 will bring about some changes and we can see our men and women come home sooner rather than later! Keep your spirits up we will all keep you/yours in our thoughts!

Jack, will be praying for the wellbeing of your son and his family's emotional health too (often we forget that impact!)

.........your son as well as all our troops are in my prayers for safe keeping and safe return to family and loved ones........hopefully 2007 will see a withdrawal of our troops and turn the country's security over to the Iraqis..........am very proud of your son and his commitment to our country.

Sorry Jack, it must weigh heavily on you mind and in your heart each and every day.
Hopefully with the uproar of our citizens and the coming changes in Congress he will be home soon (and safely).

One father to another, my sincere wishes for a reuniting 2007

It's never easy having family in a war, and I wish an uneventful tour of duty for your son. As j.l.y. said, and no doubt most of us feel, I hope more sensible policies start to prevail. My best wishes go out to you.

thank you for your kind words

it is impossible to explain the feelings of knowing your child is in a war zone

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your son and his family.
