Specifically my two lower molars on my left side.

Holy Flurking Shnitt ! My entire face hurts like HELL !

(Well, it should, Joshy...it's killing US ! ;) )

Ahem, but seriously..... I have no dental plan, I have no dentist...WTF
am I going to do ?

A handful of liquid Advils, a few shots of whiskey...and they just feel worse.

I SO don't need this shit right now.... And I *really* hate to part with money this time of year.

Let's see...If I tie one end of a string to my tooth, and the other to a doorknob.....

Oh God, I'm delirious from the pain.

Thoughts ? Hope for the Future ?

Perhaps I'm destined to live a life of endless agony and small sips of chicken broth for sustenance.

Josh:sick:

P.S. OWWWW ~~!!

i'm sorry. have you tried the ganga? i've heard it cures anything, i wouldn't know:rolleyes:

rotate cold and heat, an ice pack for a few minutes & then a heating pad for a few minutes on your cheek. hope it helps

Joshy....

feel better quickly! (*8*)

I'm not sure what to tell you health wise. I know that if you had a transplant and took medicine to keep your immune system down that you would have to go in. If it is an infection, it can go right through your blood stream and spread through your whole body. Whether you body can fight it or not depends on what it is and your immune system.

I think that there might be some dental service companies that offer plans that have set discount pricing for dentists. You join and then you get the discounted pricing. That may work for you.

Salt? Baking Soda? Those might help it go down.

Also, try sitting in the shower with warm water hitting the top of your head.
That will help you think of what to do next.
Maybe ER? for a shot of something? Call the local one. Hope you have a friend that can help you out.

Teeth suck. My biggest argument against ID. Your going to have to bite the bullet and see a dentist. you should be able to set up a payment plan. Good luck

shop for a dentist, I did that when I had no dental insurance, and was turned away from a few but I finally found a good dentist who let me slide on bills, gave me time to pay - it is worth making the calls, and keep calling until you get one you understands, you will find one, they are basically good people commited to dental health

Mikie, so sorry about your teeth!

When you have either a toothache or ear ache; the whole head seems to just throb with pain!!

You know damn well that you canNOT stand that pain; so find a dentist that you can afford and get some relief!

You canNOT work with a toothache; for you aren't able to concentrate on anything except your pain!

NO! The door-knob and string does NOT work!

Ummm, or so I've heard................lol(*8*) (*8*)

If you have an abcess, you really need to visit the dentist. You don't want blood poisoning which may travel to the brain. That is puss moving around your veins because of your infected tooth!

Get to already!!

If you are in a major city, see if there is an office for the American Dental Assoc. They may have a referral list for local dentists.

Warm water and salt should help with the inflammation. And no i am not a medical person. But it is something my dentist has had me use numerous times when needed.

(*8*) :(

I had to buy my own dental plan recently and I found a good website with lots of reasonable plans. Some have a waiting time before coverage kicks in but I found some that were affordable and coverage starts immediately.

Hope you feel better soon.

You should go to the dentist at once ! It is not something to play with, and waiting can only make things worse.

This thread has raised a few questions for me. In this country, no hospital would ask you to pay when there is an urgency, and this looks like one. They may try to get some money back afterwards, but after having taken care of the urgency.

I could say naw on a soft cock but I don't really think that would help.
you could take a hammer to your hand and you will be thinking about the hand so much you might forget about the tooth ache.
Or you could just bite the bullet and call a dentist.

some times you just have to do what you don't want to do.

I have an ear infection.. so i feel your pain..

at least your not just randomly falling over while standing

Oooo, Puka-tipping! Sweet.

But seriously, it was mentioned before: work out a payment plan. Most decent dentists will work with you.

Ask around you friends and family and see if they can recommend anyone. Or call your old dentist and explain your situation.

In any event, I hope you both feel better.

Several others have offered great advice -dental school, shopping around for an understanding dentist, etc. Check to see if your state offers free dental days -dentists will meet in a common location, do some work there or offer reduced fees if you come to their office at a later time/date. Such days mean waiting in long lines with the chance you may not be seen (get there in the wee hours of the morning in order to ensure being seen).
