Ok Antidoll, my turn to get back to you.
I also am trudging on and while it's tough sometimes, I am sticking to the diet.
The good news is that I have lost two lbs. Not much but with my goal being a loss of 20 lbs its 10%. Oweeeeeeeeee!
We have had unusual weather in Ottawa, almost Spring like. So, the car stayed in the yard, and no bus to go downtown. I walked almost every day. That is 8-10 city blocks and helping, I am sure. It compensate for my not going skiing or skating on the canal. (everything is melting)
I am keeping to 5-6 snacks/meals a day. Never a full meal, i.e. soup, entre and desert. I am starting to take my biggest meal at noon. And I never eat anything past 8.00pm.
What I am finding out, i s how many times I get asked to share a meal or go to a restaurant. My friends and family think I am nuts, by the way. But for me, I just say "not thanks" and don't go into details.
We all are good cooks and take a refusal real bad, but shucks, I will not fall off the wagon.
I miss my chocolate everything, but most of all, I miss my chocolates. get the idea! A doctor bud tells me to take a small piece of 80% dark chocolate once n a while because it's good for you. He does every evening meal. But rather than do likewise, I will take a piece for every lbs I lose as a reward. How the hell I will keep the rest of the bar untouched I have no f...g idea.
I have never been on any diet and sure think its like being in hell. But I won't give up.
Cheers to you and others and know that I don't feel alone.
