purely from a biological standpoint, there might be something wrong with a gay gene, if the entire root point of all living species is to evolve and propagate. people who are infertile or aren't predisposed to breeding kinda end up as genetic dead-ends.
If it was a serious evolutionary impediment, it would be gone by now.
It may actually be of benefit -- the Polynesians thought so, among others.
Perhaps there is no gay gene but instead a mutation.
