Ah, but there's a difference: Fox people deliberately lie to make their "points" (they went to court over that, remember), while my take on Maddow is she selects topics that help go her way.

Her way is a bit more honest.

I basically agree with the bolded but she also selects just the information about those topics that go her way which means that unfortunately she sometimes commits a lie of omission which is not necessarily better.

She also jumps to unfounded conclusions too often. For example, recently she said that Gingrich's entire campaign was a sham just because he plugged his books. He may have done that, but the conclusion was completely unfounded.

If the polls are correct that many within the Republican party support OWS, his comments may hurt him if he makes it to the general.

He degrades himself in the first place by going to a "Family Leader" shindig put on by Vander Plaatz.

i actually think that just prior to his "go get a job after u take a bath" which played to his audience but was mean spirited and too my way or the highway to get positive traction nationally

he made some sense

and reflected the feelings of many americans with regard to OWS

And Jay, a gay "republican" is supporting him? Wow big deal. Newt would eat Obama for lunch in a debate? This guy clearly has his head in the sand... Obama would easily tear him apart... all he has to do is bring up his past actions (which are extremely hypocritical). Gingrich is one of the biggest hypocrites out there.

I think he'd do quite well as he is a bright guy - I think on the ISSUES Pres. Obama has the last 3 years of performance to defend ........ and it's not defendable

LOL. Are you sure about that? Newt can't get his story straight. Obama is the bright guy, and Obama can defend quite well. What's not defendable? The crap job that Republicans are doing in Congress? Can Newt defend the horrible state of his political party? I doubt it. Plus Obama just needs to bring up his past hypocrisies regarding policy. He doesn't even have to bring up his personal life.

Newt is a major hypocrite. I'd even say more then Romney.

Um back to the topic? You went clearly off topic with that rant about Obama that makes little sense. His health care plan didn't go far enough according to some polls. Many Americans actually wanted it to go further. MIA leadership? As compared to who? Obama has been average in my books, but still far better then the alternative. Newt is a hypocrite and anybody can call him out on it based on prior policy decisions he has made. Get with reality please.

Obama is going nowhere because all of these candidates, including Gingrich, are jokes... Obama can easily defend his record against the bankrupt corrupt nature of the republican party and it's candidates. Sorry, but Obama has this one in the bag. So many other have said it already.
