Kuja, yes you can connect by ethernet. You just need the cable for that... not being sold just yet. You can also use a regular router or Nintendo's wifi thingy. The options are there, use the one that works for u best.

probable, the Wii is pretty small... it was first quoted that the Wii is about the size of 3 dvd cases stacked together and that's pretty close to the truth... just a tad bigger than that. You can make it stand vertically (which is how ur encouraged to have it all the time really with the stand and all) or place it horizontally (which honestly I never do) Discs wont get scratched or anything so dont worry.



Other recomended accesories for your Wii: SD Card for game saves and wii channels, rechargeable batteries for the wiimote (2 AAs), component cables (if u can get them).
 
Oh just so you know, you DONT need SD cards to save games. Wii has internal flash memory.
 
The Wii numbers are the only ones that seem wrong. Have they even shipped 1 mil units yet? I'm sure they'd sell out in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure they've shipped that many.

Those numbers are not completely accurate, they are mostly based on estimates really. But they aint too far off that im aware of.
 
According to the graphic over 8,2 million Xb360 has been sold.

The real number is just a little bit over 5 million world wide - 0,17 million in Japan, 3,4 million in America and 1,5 million in other territories.

I do think that Wii and PS3 quickly will pass Xb360 in sales...
 
there were 600 000 wii's for the US
400 000 for japan that 1 000 000 there and its now our in europe and australia so about 250 000 for aus and europe seems reasonable to me

well, i've heard of 4,5 million in the US. It depends where you get your numbers from

That's right!

NPD(those who track the console sales in America) claims 476,000 units of Wii where sold in America its first seven days - NPD stop track sales after the 25th each month. So Wii didn't manage to sell better then Gamecube did during the same period when it was released in 2001.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess sold 412,000 units during the same period, and became the best selling game to Wii in November in America.

In Japan Wii sold 350,358 units its first two days - which is much better then Gamecube. Wii Sports and Wii Play sold best in Japan with 176.167 and 174.297sold units, while Zelda became the third best selling game with 139.011 units sold.

PS3 has sold 353,000 units in Japan and America combined

The internet browser is up for those in the PAL regions as of now. US has to wait probably until 12am pacific time.
 
I couldnt get online at all last nite... and still this morning I cant. :( Whats going on???

BTW I tried the browser and its the awesomeness, youtube, myspace... and that stuff works perfectly. :)

Surfing in standard definition can be a bit of a pain though, contantly havin to zoom in and all that. But whatever, better than nothin.

That will be perfect then. My mother told me last week that she wants a Wii. I'm shocked she does, but, we'll see what happens.
 
yea I have decided to try new years or something to see if idiots have them in stock.

ok guys, I'll get one next week. i need to get the wii now, so i have time to recuperate for the ps3 in march ;)
