CNN has already called North Carolina for Obama. So far, 20 delegates for Obama; 13 for Clinton.

Clinton will obviously win Indiana, but she was slaughtered in North Carolina by almost 30 points, effectively eliminating any momentum she had. And she'll only win Indiana by 10 points, if that.

Hillary's only prayer is to make her case to the Superdelegates that she is more electable, and today did not help her case whatsoever.

This election has become nothing but a Race war between older and middle-aged Whites against Blacks and the youth vote, looking at the statistics.

So far,

North Carolina:

Obama 26
Clinton 16

Indiana:

Obama 5
Clinton 4

Is it racism? . . . it would seem the polarization is growing.
Over 90% of the Black vote in NC is going to Obama . . . is it racism?; what if 90% of the White vote were going against him? wouldn't we call that racism? Some tough issues here about what the vote means.

I'm not saying Blacks aren't voting for Obama because he is Black. You Clinton supporters always try this crap to make it sound like I only jump on Whites who aren't voting for Obama and calling them racists. I've been consistent in my messages decrying Blacks voting for Obama based on Race, as well. Check my message history for more on this.

What I made is a simple observation. This has turned into a Race War. Blacks voting for Obama. Whites voting for Clinton.

And Construct, we'll drag you're 49 year old body into the "Youth Vote" category, as well. LOL!

I'm not sure what the final percentage results in North Carolina will be, but the turnout for Obama has been phenomenal. I had expected the race to within 5-10 percentage points. Good for him.

The campaign's been rough to him, but he's still flying despite all of the attacks and negativity.

The primaries will drag on though -- West Virginia will probably be won by Clinton with a wide margin, and Kentucky too. Obama will then take Oregon, South Dakota, and Montana by healthy margins.

Clinton can't theoretically win the delegate count at this point -- her campaign is hedging on capturing the popular vote to create an argument of electability. North Carolina's results might set her back in the popular vote by perhaps 80,000 to 100,000 (there is already a roughly 400,000 gap). She has to sweep Kentucky and West Virginia in margins that she has only made since Arkansas, perhaps even greater, to make up for the losses, as well as to shore up against Obama storming the remaining states. She is tenacious, but its not a likely scenario at this point.

North Carolina:

Obama 20
Clinton 13

Indiana:

Obama 3
Clinton 7

Apparantly my most recent post included superdelegates. My bad.

Explain your post in straight-forward terms. To me, it seems as if you're condemning blacks as racists for voting for Obama.

. . . no more than I would condemn Whites for voting for voting against him . . . it would seem racism is rampant on both sides or we wouldn't be seeing these skewed numbers.

mes culpa
I wasn't judging you . . . I was making a similar observation.

The racial divides are greatly exaggerated by media outlets.

Obama actually won the under-65 White vote in North Carolina.

oh?

it will be close and I'm not sure she will win

but whatever, she has lost big tonight

Yeah, Jack. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the numbers again a minute ago. They're within 6 points as of right now, with 68% reporting.

It's going to be really damn close. If he takes it though, I am going to be very pleasantly surprised.

So you equally condemn the women who vote for Rodham because she's a woman?

That's not based on race . . . a whole different type of pocket issue on which voters base their votes..

Why is it assumed that older white voters vote for Clinton because of racism, particulary in NC? The racist vote long ago went to the Republicans. Older voters are probably voting for Clinton because they know her and identify with her.

Obama supporters always find it necessary to disparage everyone that disagrees with them. They seem incapable of perceiving anything in other than black and white, good and evil terms. That's called immaturity (or just plain old stupidity).

It's still the same category. People voting based on Demographics, in general, which is what I and ICO condemn. We haven't heard you condemn Women voting for Hillary based on Gender preferences. Are you willing to do that?

The idea that blacks voting for Obama is racist is utter bullshit.

In any form of politics, people vote for their own, especially in a mold-breaking election. That African Americans are supporting one of their own at smashing down a racial barrier is hardly racism.

Racism is not just bigotry - it is the ability to exercise domination. There is no way that blacks have ever excercised racial domination in the US. Whether it be 3/5s of a person in the original Constitution through slavery through Jim Crow and legal discrimination - it was only 40 years ago that Martin Luther King was murdered, that black churches were being blown up, that civil rights workers were being murdered. The Voting Rights Act is not much more than 40 years old. Poll taxes and literacy taxes and Jim Crow haven't been rolled back but a generation. This is white domination barely restrained in our country's history.

And anyone who says that racism does not exist in this country is full of shit.

So how African Americans voting for one of their own is supposed to be a bad thing is just utter racism on its faced - it is an attempt to dominate by power against a minority.

The end of racism is for the dominant group, whites, to break the pattern of domination. That is being done far far more than any of us dared ever hope. We have a long way to go.

Bill Clinton is going around to all white communities saying "people like you" are keeping his wife in the race. That is a naked appeal to racism. The Clinton camp assumed they have black voters in their back pocket., damn were they wrong. The stunning thing is that instead of losing the African American vote by maybe 80-20, as blacks naturally supported one of their own, that the Clintons are losing by about 93-7. That is astounding. That should say something to everyone who tries to run racial politics in this country.

We aren't there yet but we are getting to a better place -

Obama has won in overwhelmingly white states such as Iowa, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and had those victories mocked by the Clintons and their supporters who claim Obama can't get white votes -

Bill Clinton complaining the race card was played on him and then denying he said it -

their time is over

Clinton is only ahead by 4% now with 72% of the precincts reporting.

This race in Indiana is intense.

No sense of irony do you have.

You label others with the very traits you have displayed for months and expect anyone to buy it?

"People like you" as Bill Clinton calls them - well, enough said.

I have to completely disagree with this assertion. It’s a sensational and manichean.

And coming from someone with your past behavior and posts, it’s a grotesque irony that you would say this of others.
