We rarely interacted at all and really never clashed.

Once it was nakedly apparent early on that he was trying to parlay relatively modest educational achievements and erudition into an intellectually dishonest construct, he ceased to be of much interest.

He seemed to burn himself out on trying to import sneering cynicism into the Splendour thread as I recall. And as fewer people took the bait he dangled, his ennui must have finally desiccated his imagination.

One assumes that he was strangled by one of the street boys he paid to blow him. Or not.

He'll turn up one day with a new variation on Bellami.

Odd that someone who considered himself to be an original never came up with a more interesting avatar.
