Obamacare is crashing...

If we had a President with more spine to fight for the original plans of Single Payer, nearly everybody would get good health care. But, the 'Pubs love to put things into healthcare systems such as making huge buyers (such as the VA) PROHIBITED from negotiating for lower pharma prices.

Of course -- the GOP doesn't believe in a free market.

Neither do the Democrats, really, but at least they persecute everyone evenhandedly.

.?? Price controls by the states cold not be considered a free market. US drug companies went out of the vaccine business after the US aggressively limited the price it would pay in buying the bulk of the vaccines. Liberal love the golden eggs but hate that goose.

As I said, the GOP doesn't believe in a free market. Letting a state negotiate discount prices in bulk is no different than letting an insurance company do the same.

Without profits the drug companies cannot develop new drugs or manufacture old ones. The state which demands the lowest prices will set the price for the rest. Every liberal politician will try to make a name for himself as squeezing the drug companies more than others. A fundamental rule of economics is that price controls lead to shortages. Google " what's behind vaccine shortages for discussions.

But it doesn't bother you when giant corporations engage in price controls, for example Walmart employing extortion to get its suppliers to sell at the price Walmart wants to pay.

BTW, the drug companies are as often responsible for squashing effective remedies as providing new ones -- they don't want any around that might under-price their pills. An excellent example is the suppression in various places of boron remedies for various ills.

The crash continues . . . .

The Obama administration Monday delayed part of the Obamacare employer mandate in 2015 and beyond, the latest move to counter a torrent of criticism from the business community about the health law’s impact on employers.

Treasury Department said businesses with fewer than 100 workers would not be required to provide health care to its workers in 2015 or face a fine.

Obama also continues to write laws and doesn't need Congress. Congress, including republicans, act like sheep and do nothing to stop the man.

Your naked assertion is not enough for me to judge. The Robinson Patman Act 15 USC 15, prohibits that type of price discrimination. In any event, two wrongs do make a right. The state has more power to extort than any company.

This deprives the insurance companies of the revenue which they need to make the pre existent illness coverage possible. The next step is for Dems to want subsidies to the insurance companies to save Obamacare.

It's what they get for adopting a GOP plan.

Though I'm not familiar with just how much fiddling and rescuing Romney care has needed along the way.

Sanofi, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, and Novartis are among the largest vaccine producers with operations in the US.

Liberal love the golden eggs but hate that goose.

The process actually uses “specific pathogen-free” chicken eggs produced under strict quality control guidelines.

For what I hope is the final time. Obamacare is not a republican law. It may contain some bits and pieces of a conservative think tank project that never was adopted -- but it is 100% a democrat passed law -- not one republican US Senator or US Congressman voted for it.

It's time to stop this fantasy and big lie.

Republicans were for the Obamacare model (in a densely-populated eastern state) before Obama was - then their Obamahate changed everything. After the DINO (Democrat In Name Only) President was for it, they could not possibly support it any more, because their absolute, only, sole mission in both houses of Congress is to make sure that Obama fails.

Nothing new about the opposition party wanting the sitting President to fail.

The majority of democrats wanted President Bush to fail. Does that mean that democrats hate white men as President? Crazy shit.

Republicans were never in favor of Obamacare. Obama care is said to be 2000 pages of statute nd a million words of regulations. Name one Republican who wanted all that?

What did you think a complex nationwide policy law was going to be? 15 words and a slap on the ass?

Keep telling yourself that, and maybe you'll convince the mirror.

The only reason that no Republicans voted for it was that Obama was for it. Obama thought that by using a GOP plan he'd get some support, but the GOP of today would vote against anything Obama approved of, even if he lifted it from Boehner and McConnell's wish lists.

Call him a LINO -- Leader In Name Only.

Though really he's the product of our political system, which rewards appearances over substance -- the inevitable result of a two-party system.

No it the inevitable result of our system of popular nomination and election of the President. It was less true when nominations were actually made at the conventions. The two party system is another inevitable result of the popular election system. Any third party vote is effectively a vote for the candidate the voter likes least. Democrats voting for Nader elected Bush. Republicans voting for Perot elected Clinton. Republicans voting for Roosevelt elected Wilson.

Obama has illegally changed the ACA 27 times since the law was passed by the US Congress.

Republicans have legally tried to change the law 40 times -- but Harry Reid will not allow a vote in the US Senate.

Shutting down the government to force negotiation on repealing or defunding or delaying a law legally passed by Congress is not legal. It fits the definition of sedition -- at the very minimum it's intentional obstruction of the democratic process.
