And the ONLY reason they were asked to leave is because they expanded their camp previously that day to include the Greenway. Had they not set up tents and other camping paraphenalia in the greenway, they would have been allowed to stay. (and all you need to do is look at the comments by Boston's mayor to understand that)

No one is restricting their right to assemble there if they want, just to live there. There is no "freedom of habitation" granting you the right to bed anywhere you want in the Constitution.

A time limit on assembly is a restriction of the right.

That you don't see how letting a local law trump the Constitution aims toward tyranny is why countries inexorably slip toward tyranny.

Habitation is not the same thing as assembly.

If the group of people gathered in the park and stood there in a group for 70 hours, that would likely be allowed.

They were only asked to remove the sleeping equipment.

You're imagining things into this situation. They were never given a time limit on the right to assemble. They were given a time limit for setting up a camp where they would sleep overnight. The protesters refused to leave, so they were arrested. Note that the police had no problem with them sleeping in the park where they were originally, which makes it even more clear that they were arrested for where they were sleeping, not where they were protesting. As I said earlier, you're not understanding the difference between what you're claiming and what actually happened.
 
The question I'm wondering is when will someone step up to mainstream this anger many Americans feel to create political pressure to actually change? The Teabaggers were coopted by the Koch Fox RNC Trifecta of Astroturf, while Invasion of the Wall Street crowd truly is grassroots. Once mainstream Americans see there is someone carrying their mantle, money, votes, and power will follow.

Last I checked, America does not arrest women for driving, stone people for adultery, or hang gay people.

And that the idea came from an article in a publication which says he's never donated to them.
